This game really needs Jean Michel Jarre on ambient.

It's a pity that achieving stable 60fps is not possible on overclocked 980Ti without dialing down many graphical settings.

Actually, I'm having doubts about Pascal being able to pull this one out on 1440p 144fps.

And thanks to the beauty of g-sync... my vanilla 980 didn't even notice that this was struggling @ 1440p :)

Sure.. it doesn't hit 144hz.. but it's smooth and it's a pretty slow game.

I have no doubts (none) that pascal will crush this @ 1440p.

To be honest....I´m running this on somewhere between mid to high settings and the difference is not that dramatic, when set to ultra. Love this game! For me....just the best and most realistic graphics with such a great FPS so far...

good thing they dialed back the graphics from the early showings then, or people would be playing at 30fps on their high end rigs. :P

I run an overclocked 980 Ti at 2560 x 1440 and got at minimum 45 fps, usually around 55 fps, and as much as 90 or 100 fps in indoor environments. Everything maxed out (well, I left sharpness at 50, and I don't know if that affects performance if increased). Supersampling on the temporal AA and everything. With G-Sync it feels smooth, and dips below 60 don't seem important in a third-person cover-based shooter; it isn't fast-paced enough to depend upon a rock-solid high frame rate. And, since this was at 2560 x 1440, I would expect someone using only 1080p resolution to be able to attain steady 60+ fps with everything maxed on an overclocked 980 Ti.

Ultimately, for the quality of the visuals I was getting, I think that the game runs very well indeed.

My 970 did :( Gsync helps, but not when you dip to 34 or such.

LOL! Tell that to laggy PVP assholes. You'll be crying for every frame then.

Yeah when you dip that low it's an issue.. but it really smooths things out on the higher range.

Not to mention the absence of the horrible Vsync lag.

I hope they'll use this engine for Watch Dogs 2. The Collapse geo-location webpage is nice, like the banknotes one =)

Don't you dare complain, I'm serious, or else Ubisoft will just start downgrading all settings on PC again and we will be right back to console graphics as maximum on PC, just so everyone with a single GPU of the current generation is happy to run what has the name "Ultra"

I ran it at 1080P on my OC GTX 970 with a pretty constant 60fps. However, when I ran it above 1080, then it started to dip. Given I only have a 1080P monitor, i'm just fine ^_^

I couldn't get it to not crash. I'm new to PC and I can't figure out how to get the best out of the settings for my GTX 970. How does one know how much or many effects and what not they can run?

The games presets it for You. I used preset settings and enabled this and disabled that just for my taste and for the game to run smooth. Not even a single crash during the whole weekend gameplay. Yes...it crashed once...because on Saturday, there was a server maintnance from Ubisoft side. And my old PC specs are: Intel i5 3570K, Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 XMP, 250GB SSD disc, Gigabyte GTX 660 Ultra Durable 2GB, Win 7 64 bit. Not really a NASA technology, right?
