Xbox 360 PS3

The demo of Rainbow Six Vegas is available since a few hours on the Marketplace, except in the US and Canada (some exclusivity deal with OXM I'd say). And since it's the first playable Unreal Engine 3 powered game I HAD to do a video! One small thing, I kept the ending just as a lesson not to play stupidly like I did :)
Update: 720p version online.

This game has some very odd motion blur, but other than that it looks great. The cover system is really nice as well, it makes waiting for Gears even harder :)

I believe the demo takes place in a gothic-style casino under construction.

Awesome demo! Framerate dipped a little in some places though. It wasn't bad, but hopefully they will iron it out before it ships. Other than that, best demo I have played!

Tight moves, blim (until the bitter end). Can you lean right/left or backturn to wall and peek behind it is obligatory? Any jaggies?

No leaning, unless I missed it. Jaggies were fine on my DLP TV, but other people complain about them.

Actually, it wasn't jaggy for me either. I was just gonna go online and see if it's really UE3, because if this is it then there's really nothing to worry about.

Unless, of course, it looks considerably worse on other people's HDTVs than mine.

As for Gears.. It better have more to it than "stop and pop", because honestly, this game's shootouts are crazy, and it does tons of stuff on top of that.

Yeah, but I think the thing with Gears is that it has a certain flow and atmosphere to it, and although it has that 'stop and pop' gameplay, it has a fantastic pacing to it, also because of the slamming into the walls, diving, etc...(that horizontal platformer thing Cliffy B's always on about).

This is different, yes it has a lot in it, but you have to think/consider/wager quite alot in this game and therefor has an entirely different "pacing" to it, so it's not really a fair comparison to Gears at all, imo...

Realistic difficulty is insane.

I think it's fair to compare this game to Gears in a lot of ways really. Same kind of 3rd person cover system, blind firing, same graphics engine... They are probably more alike than they are different.
