Here's a late one - SoulCalibur IV was released last month on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and here are finally the First 10 Minutes of the game. Since we've been busy with GC and everything, I haven't been able to play much - but I've enjoyed what I've played so far. The (huge) video shows fights where I change between two characters in Hard mode, and I guess it's obvious that the first character makes it easy to push out people from the stage.
A very nice addition to the Xbox Live Arcade was done earlier this summer, when Namco-Bandai decided to release the Dreamcast hit SoulCalibur. It was a great warm-up for what was coming now, and the fourth game has finally hit the stores.
The game offers a giant line-up of characters, over 30, including some bonus ones as Darth Vader and Joda from the Star Wars movies. The game has both the classic characters from the previous games, as well as new ones. You can play all these characters through the story mode, where you fight enemies in a queue-like system, taking out one enemy after another. You often have to beat several ones before you can go to the next stage.
The SoulCalibur series is sword based, instead of the same old fighting concept of using your fists to fight. It makes it pretty different from the other games in the genre, and thanks to this the characters have all their unique style of fighting. Some have great swords that do much damage, while others use smaller knives that makes them quick.
The game also offers a multiplayer mode, something I unfortunately haven't tried out much yet. The graphics in the game looks great, animations works well and there really isn't anything to complain about there. Enjoy some fights in the video below, captured from the story mode of two different characters.

But on another note: Soul Calibur IV does indeed own. The virtual dollhouse stuff is surprisingly addictive, and I expected to hate it--but customization aside--there's a pretty damn awesome fighter in there too.

It's just that I don't pay 60 bucks for a beat em up ever again.
Story mode is also disappointing. Its great but compared to those from e.g. Soul Calibur 2, its a huge step back!

I've banned myself from online, though. I really do suck.
