Focus Home Interactive shares these 4 minutes of unedited gameplay showing some features of The Surge, Deck13's upcoming action-RPG. You'll see the dysfunctional CREO Complex and its dangerous prototypes, armament combinations and the limb-cutting system. The title is still set to release in 2017.

Yup. Definitely a souls clone. Looks a bit janky, but the idea of sci-fi souls is interesting.

Looks kinda neat. I mean, it can't be all that bad if it's from the Lords of the Fallen devs, that game was rather solid.

Will be interesting to see a western developer's take on Souls even if the sci-fi isn't that inventive. At least they didn't go for the "in the future everything is designed by Apple" design.

as Split said, they made lords of the fallen prior to this, so we already have a western take on the souls series. it was ok...hopefully this is better.

Lords of the fallen ran like crap on consoles. Hopefully this game will be more polished.
