They really done a great job with the next gen version, but I just can't bring myself to paying full price for it..at least so far. I'm definitely getting this somewhere down the line.

Those pics almost look identical, except that I think the PC version looks somewhat better? Am I wrong? So, what's the big deal about this shoddy rip off of a port?
Wow and after first completing it this past summer on my PC, I'll be able to enjoy a new version without having to settle for much less and getting a full head to toe upgrade on PS4 at 1080P, TressFX, New Textures, @60fps. Good for all the XBONE and especially PS4 owners who'll get the better version of the two who never got a chance to play the game. It'll be a great experience for an introduction into the Tomb Raider world for the kids out there who didn't back in the PS1 days.

As a release? Nothing. It's just yet another example of the xbone version of a game being inferior...which people still seem to be in denial about. Hence the "commotion"

were those shots PS4 vx xbone? just curious...

Thanks. Yeah, i noticed that with her eyes as well.
The only thing missing from the pc version is the axe and weapon physics against her body, I'm sure that's just an easy patch, someone'll mod it if not eidos.

Not sure what you're talking about. Those are still images taken from the PC comparing it to the PS4 version. Nothing to do with the PS4 VS the Xb1 version at all, which look identical in IQ anyway. I still think the PC version looks a tad better in places.

You shouldn't have said that, You should have asked which one he thought look best, The first or the second image.
I remember going to game spot to pick up the ps3 version and the clerk their told me that this version was coming out ... I held out ... so I haven't played this game yet (I played every TR game though :p).

Wow, they just ruined her face for next gen. Not only is she cross eyed, but she looks really generic now. The PC version looks more like a real person. More practical as well. Less like a Maxim model for 17 year olds to fap to. Sadly, the new face is probably what will carry forward. I'm glad PS4 owners will get a PC'ish experience with the game, but I'm definitely glad I have the PC version when it comes to her character model. Below are some steam screenshots I took of the PC version.
