THQ and 2XL Games release this first trailer of Baja, their off-road rallye game inspired from the famous race that goes on thousands of miles through Mexico. Between Motorstorm and MX vs ATV, Baja should offer gigantic terrains randomly generated. To be continued this summer on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

And if it proves to be a great rent, I'll buy it to hold me over until MotorStorm2.
And remember, the terrain is procedurally generated, so you can't expect razor sharp, perfectly mapped out environments, seeing that it isn't mapped out.
EDIT : what happened to that other racer that was similar to this, it was announced way back when the current gen consoles where just coming out. cant remember the name of it.
I've been on the edge wether to buy Forza 2 or not. I like the car modability, but I HATE doing laps on straight asphalt.
Now it seems I'll get to modify my offroad vehicles, and I fukken love offroad racing.
I haven't heard anything about randomly generated terrain, if that's any good this will be the ultimate racing game for me.
The graphics aren't top notch but then again, I don't really care.
The thing I don't like about the other games mentioned here is the fact that you're always constrained to a set course (or a set course with shortcuts).
With this, it looks like you can just fuck about if you want (one of the few things I liked about World Racing), which means my fiance will like it too!
When it comes to races of every sort, I like both, sim and arcade. And this game, BAJA, seems to make fun. Looking forward to it.
Might be decent, but is probably mediocre or poor.
