Xbox 360

2K Games released a direct-feed version of the Prey trailer broadcasted on G4 last week. I can't say I understand the hype around this game, which was announced for around 10 years ago.

the portal technology and gravity of the rooms is STILL some stunning stuff if they can pull it off.

God this game looks sick. All the cool things you can do, vehicle control, spirit control, crazy weapons, native amercan theme, portals, planetary gravity, creepy stuff. I love it.

I agree, however, I think that's saying more about the current D3 engine games on the market than it's saying about PREY. :P

In all seriousness though, this game does look pretty cool.

The need to show more of the portals and gravity plates. Those are big parts of what make this game stand out from other FPSs.

btw, why is the file called "fear" nov trailer?

I'm an ass. Four letters, same genre. Sorry about that, I guess it's too late to change now.

Amazing graphics, strange gameplay mechanics, good ragdoll, fun weapons (little crab-grenade thing? priceless), and what overall looks like a fantastic production. Can't wait for this one

Prey is looking HOT. The mechanical walls are less flat and more detailed; the organic parts look slimey; the vehicles, weapons, portals, and wall walk gameplay looks not only new but FUN; and everything appears to have a high poly/normal map quality feel. Lighting and shadowing look good and not as many "100% dark" areas but instead solid contrast.

And the plot is neat and the diversity in enemies and kind of freaky setting really seem to set this apart. Walking on the small asteroid with Low G is neat as well.

Basically a really neat concept that allows for a LOT of creativity. If the MP is good I will get this. Looking like the next FPS to interest me since HL2.

I agree Acert. This is the first interesting FPS since HL2. Finaly a game that actually tries to use some new gameplay mechanics.

Acid Snow, please get your facts straight.
Duke Nukem has nothing to do with the Doom3 Engine, nor does it look anything like Prey.
