NOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!

I played the first one, and lemme tell you. It's one of the biggest shit that I played on my 360, seriously.

I got to play Ace Combat 6 two years(or so) before HAWX was out and it was waaaay better. The graphics seemed worse, you can't land/take off planes on HAWX, the story is non-existent on HAWX, there's always a fuckin asshole talking trough EVERY mission in your screen and he doesn't shut up. The only advantage over AC 6 was the real planes, but the majority of the planes were shit and you always end up using the F-22 or other 2 alternatives. It's shit.

Even if HAWX 2 is GOTY, I won't buy it.

Graphically, the game looks much better than the first and the first one looked awesome! I love flight combat games and unfortunately, they are few and far between.

Cant wait to play it!

Which is why you will be able to do it in HAWX 2.

And it's not like it matters, you gain nothing from that in arcade games like Ace combat or this. I really don't see the point, I prefer a cutscene than doing it myself in these games.

That's just because there hasn't been a good flight game for the last........I can't count that many years actually, lol. The last decent one was maybe Crimson Skies for the Xbox? Other than that, it's been stupid Ace Combat and subsequent sequels.

Oh well, this game has got the graphics down!

even crimson skies didnt do anything for me. i think it's just how one-trick flight games are. your in the air, you evade and you shoot. that's it, sure they add convoy protection missions, but they amount to the same thing. the only game with flight i enjoyed was probably warhawk for PS3. but thats cos it wasnt the only element of the game, just a part of it.

i need a game where you can jump into airborn vehicles when you like, otherwise i just lose interest....basically i want dark void...only made by competent developers and not completely crap.

There's not enough of jet plane games for 360 but I'd still prefer a new Ace Combat. I've played the AC:5 and AC:0 a lot and enjoyed those. AC:6 and HAWX not so much so I'm hoping for redemption.
Are those pics all from the game, though? Hard to believe.

WTF!??!?! Is there even a single developer waiting to announce ANYTHING at E3?!?! Do they understand it's TWO WEEKS away!? At this rate- E3 is going to be about the speech quality- not quantity.

They better fix the flight model, the first game just felt weak in that area. As mentioned above, they need to give it a more dramatic story, some proper cutscenes ala ace combat, without that every mission just blends in.

I wish they had made another crimson skies though, possibly the best flight game ever made.

I haven't played the full version of Hawx but I'm surprised that since the game bears the name of Tom Clancy on it it still failed to be properly dramatic as Tomarru claims. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to counter any argument here but merely expressing the surprise that a Clancy's game would lack a dramatic story.

Yeah I hope for a new entry as well. But seeing what UBI is doing to their other Tom Clancy based franchises I'm a bit worried to be honest....

If they smooth out the graphics and gameplay I will be in...far too few flight games this gen and the first HAWX had its moments although I would forget about it completely if a new AC was announced. The most annoying thing about the first HAWX for me was the strange choppiness and random little pauses the engine had, flight games need to be 100% smooth or I find my immersion levels severely compromised. The "assistance off" was also a pile of shit so hopefully that gets fixed in some way too.
