can do without John Cleese to be honest. He was in the second too.

Fable seems such a wasted oppertunitie. I'd love for it to turn more dark and twisted, offer a terry gillium approach rather than obvious slap stick. Incorporate fables in there.. have the ghost of little red riding hood causing mischief.. have the sandman invading villages at night stealing babys breath..theres loads you could do with it.
Instead they just seem to offer us the same 3 enemy types throughout, and a lose idea of choice.

I enjoyed Fable 2.. but this seems more the same, even looks exactly the same at this point. I guess we know where Natals going to be made use of though now

Fable 2 left a bad taste in my mouth, and my feelings are kind of mixed on this. The improvements to the interface seem genuinely cool, but unless they improve the core combat and introduce enemy AIs that are actually exciting to fight, I will probably pass.

Face it they won't improve anything, they'll undershoot their goals and its going to be a short game.

Peter Molyneux should go away.

Replaced the old GUI with a new 3D version to help push Natal with the Fable 3?

See, when they talk about moving away from the RPG elements it just makes me cringe. I really think what they have with fable, especially going on from 2, is a great basis to create a fully realised GAME. I keep saying the 2nd one had all the right elements, but they were all way too shallow, way too easy to accomplish and way too forgettable. They need to expand everything, more items, more quests, more things to own, more places to go, more enemies, more bosses, a bigger variety of combat mechanisms.

Instead, they talk about removing or cutting back the rpg elements to make a straight adventure game, which is totally the wrong way to go with the franchise.

Fable 2 also left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully they actually turn it around and make Fable 3 the game that Fable 2 was suppose to be, because I often times think back on Fable 2, and I'm not exactly sure what the hell it was suppose to be, it just made no sense.

I really hope they bring back the armor like in fable 1. But I don't think that they will.

John cleese is not enough.
tell me about it. they first need to make the game more in-depth in every way. combat needs to at LEAST revert back to the system of fable 1, and the dog needs to be more then a glorified treasure hunter. NPC interactions really needs to go beyond that of doing a dance in the middle of town and everyone loving you for it. fable 2 was one of the biggest dissapointments of the entire generation. fable 3 needs to prove a LOT at this stage. and molyneux needs to promis less.

it really is a franhcise was some serious wasted potential. the style and world of fable is amazing. it's the actual game that they need to make better.

Agreed it was shallow as a puddle of cat piss, the artwork was amazing animation and style was second to none, i adored it, but the depth was just so pathetic it made FF13 look deep... and thats going some.
