Trailer PC Xbox 360 PS3

When you were young, you were certainly told not to leave home without putting on your gloves and jacket. Well, guess what? Crysis 2 will have you follow the same motherly advice as you would be ill-advised to wander around the streets of New York without wearing your Nano Suit. The proof of the pudding is in the watching, inside.

Going to be Insane to play another Crysis title, its only to bad the console version won't up to the job at minimum, I think.

It looks fantastico. A step down from the Original technically, but for a console game its looking hot.

The one franchise that doesn't need pre-rendered cutscenes. WYSIWYG!

Looks amazingly awesome!

Most anticipated FPS for me (then its Killzone 3), this trailer was very well made.
I love that they implemented some cool move like the slide, power stomping from a jump or kicking cars...etc. some nice stylish ways of playing.

Well I have been ripping on this game for a while now, but I have to admit, this trailer has sparked interest. If the gameplay looks like that on my screen at home, this will be the best looking console game out there. I will have the PC version though, of course :)

I really want to know what version of the game was showing during this trailer because if it was one of the console versions playing with that framerate, then I'm sold. It looked pleasing, epic, fast and fun.

Yep, squidheads ruin everything for me too. The most interesting part of original Crysis was fight against Koreans. In the end it got boring shooting at these aliens. I don't say there shoudn't be aliens at all, just not along all game. But who knows there may be surprises. Anyway must buy for Crysis fan.

This is quite a big leap from lush forests and sandy beaches.

I mean I was happy about New York being the location, but it is in ruins in this game. With all that rubble the scenery may be a bit too "busy" to my taste.

this game hasnt "clicked" with me yet. i'm not a fan of it stylistically (the aliens look rediculous), i'm definately not a fan of the "been there done that" NY setting. i mean, you're a sci-fi shooter which essentially give you free raign over the look of the worlds, and the first thing that came to the developer minds was "oh, new york, that hasnt been dont to death at all" such a weird choice imo.

it looks pretty nice visually tho. but i'm not really on the edge of my seat in excitement. i'm going to play it (rental) but i'm not particularly eager to. there are way more games in 2011 that take priority.

I agree with you guys saying NY scks, can't stress this enough.

Why the hell did they add NY? Tons of media has covered NY, in sci fi movies, catastrophy movies, games like Spiderman, Prototype...etc. NOTHING anyone can do will make NY be "fresh" again.

Sure this is a sci-fi game, but its not space sci-fi like Killzone or Halo or Starcraft (unfortunetly!), but of all the places on Earth they take the most generic place possible.
Europe has some good locations with good arcitectures designs, or go to Washington DC, or South America, Asia, Middle East...alot of these places has far more interesting things to see and do than NY.

/rant

I still cant wait for it though LOL

It's probably easy to render. I totally agree though; uninteresting as a pickle.

Crytek are masters of graphics and all, I hardly think they would have a problem with rendering.
I think they took NY for the sake of its a famous in US (surprise surprise :/).

I rather have the game to be set in Washington tbh or LA or something else other than NY.
