Until we can get our own copy of Vanquish and maybe try to review the game properly - if we have a bit of spare time -, here is a gameplay video of the PS3 version for starters. Thanks to DJmizuhara, we are on time for release and you can have a sneak peak at Level 2 and 3. More videos to come, provided you ask nicely.
Update 3: Third video back online.

I think its gameplay is perfect!
dont even know how to trigger slow motion
play it like a normal shooter
vanquish isn't meant for playing like a normal cover shooter
which the player did
and why people ask someone's age when they disagree something
how old are you then
how mature you are
vanquish isn't meant for playing like a normal cover shooter

Given that even considering posting that someone who took some of their time to offer you some gameplay footage actually sucks because they don't play the way you think the game is meant to be played (breathe) is the exact opposite of being mature. I'll let you imagine what it is to actually post the message.
Since when did "you suck" become some kind of relevant argument? I mean outside of primary school that is...
So yes, I indeed disagree with such useless comments. You're welcome to give your opinion on the game, say you love it or even hate it. But please, spare us the easy mocking tone, just because DJmizuhara just did not happen to use slow motion (which you do not have to when you play correctly btw). One, he did not have much time to play the game to be able to send us some footage on time for the game's release. Two, what's even the point of saying he sucks? It's not like he/we said "the game is crap as proven in the videos".
there are actually 4 ways to trigger it
you can see it in manual or tutorial
and you only use it in one way----almost getting killed
sure you can say you can play however you wanna play
but for a gaming site like this
shouldn't showcase a game and introduce none of the features
it's like playing gow and don't use the cover mechanic
whatever it's not my site
i'll just end it up here

"You can approach this game like a Gears of War clone and play it to complete it, and you can have a reasonably fun "7/10" experience doing so, but this is clearly not the kind of game that Platinum set out to make."

I used a cover only to smoke a cigarette for break btw. Hiding like a pussy didn't work at all on highter difficulties. That is why i didn't get all these Gears comparisons. It's totally different game!

Some gamers don't really go all that deep with their game time prefering to treat the experience as a film these days. The usual one playthrough and onto the next game is mostly what happens. And while that's great i guess, i do think it misses the point of what games are all about. The sad thing is some devs seem focused now on making games more like that of how films play out, and that's surely not a good thing. In some cases you may as well watch a film such is the lack interaction you clearly wont get from only casually skimping through
Unfortunately scoring is also likely to be wasted on 90% of those that play Vanquish.Gamers that don't understand games even a little seems quite common and doesn't exactly make you proud.I'm talking more generally here though and not regards to this video playthrough or the player

I play like that also,I want to master the game and that takes time and to know everything the game has to offer.
Great comment.
