Video Xbox 360 PS3

Miguel's Grand Theft Auto V timelapse video was enough of a motivation to push one of Gamersyde's French members to try to do his own. It took him a while but it was definitely worth it, which is why we decided to show what Bobox360 was capable of. He was kind enough to send us the original video he made so we could share it with you guys, but you can also check it out on his YouTube channel. Kudos to him once again!

This game just fascinates! In real, on big TV it looks thousand times better, than in any screenshot or video. When I see the stunning graphics and gameplay of this....who needs next gen?

My friend, next-gen will not satisfy you if you don't stop to enjoy the amazing games we already have. Namaste.

God this game is incredible! The water in particular looks insane in this game! It does make me wonder what next gen machines will be capable of after seeing this on 10 year old tech.

The only thing that bothers me in the game is the driving. I know I'm in the minority, but I loved the damage and the weighty feel of the cars in GTA IV. Now we have Saints Row style toy cars that will either take a turn at 100 mph or crash. There is almost no room in the controls for power sliding which is a shame. Also surprised they gimped the damage system. Cars crashed great in GTA IV, but now they are like tanks. You can mess up a car worse by punching it than by a 100 mph head on crash.

Anyway, that's my only gripe with the game. Incredible experience!!

I disagree, on a big TV I notice all the aliasing as well as the quite bad framerate. If (when) they release a PC-version it will no doubt be one of the best looking games out there.

Yeah, I'd agree to a certain extent. I too loved the weighty feel of cars in IV and the way they handled turning. The damage is another aspect that I thought was a bit odd. However, I accept they are aiming for different things. I now like how cars feel when driving in this, especially in the bonnet cam view. It's just fantastic weaving in and out of traffic with it. It's snappy and responsive like a dedicated arcade racer. It makes racing missions extremely fun, and it's a testament to how fun it is when it makes proper full arcade racing games seem redundant, because its just a single aspect of the game. The damage can be more realistic in ways too. Cars now actually lose entire sections of the bodywork, and I've even seen wheels completely snapped off.

Yeah, the handling definitely seems better suited for racing. It actually reminds me a lot of the Midnight club games. I just wish they would've combined the responsive handling with a handbrake that works. As it is, hitting the handbrake feels more like you are popping the car in neutral than it it does a proper handbrake. The handling isn't horrid, just a slight step back imo.

The damage does seem weird. The cars look amazing (better than their real life copies in some respects), but it seems they traded better damage for lack of deformation. Personally I don't like games where body panels just randomly fall off. Realistically, parts bend and crush rather than pop-off, and it just kind of looks weird driving a perfect box around with big black missing spots where the quarter panels and hood used to be.

Anyway, just minor complaints. everything else in the game seems to have improved by leaps and bounds.

Would be nice if Gamersyde did some watermarked gifs as well, people would be able to embed those in forums.

When I look at the traffic and imagine if this time lapse is going on real time i keep thinking, DAMN that would suck to be stuck at those lights for almost an hour.
