Last week felt like summer in France, but autumn is now back, which is a nice coincidence as rain will be released tomorrow on Playstation Network. After being able to play the first 3 chapters last month, we could finish the game a few days ago and now is the time to find out what we thought about it. Verdict
Thanks to its mesmerizing soundtrack, its poetic visual style and its simple but solid gameplay mechanics, rain will undoubtedly move those of you who enjoyed such titles as Journey, Limbo or even Brothers: A Tale of Two sons more recently. Much like these game, the experience isn't very long but there is no way we can hold a grudge against it. It's a short shower of rain we're given but it is so much more invigorating than most of the media storms we often get in the video game industry. A diamond to add in the list of many memorable exclusives released on PS3, which still has a lot of beautiful stories to tell at the dawn of next generation.
