E3 being over, we can get back to new releases, like Space Galaxy Run, sequel to the game Space Run released in 2014 on PC. Developed by Passtech Games and published by Focus Home Interactive, this small independent title offers you to become a space road driver in a very hostile world. It features a dynamic tower defence style gameplay with RPG elements. Check out our videos inside.
Verdict
Galaxy Space Run is a pleasant evolved tower defense time, simple to learn but not that easy to master. Its progression curve and its life span are quite good, but the gameplay will most certainly seem repetitive to some. In the end, we especially regret the absence of a pause or a sort of bullet time effect during some of the most thrilling sequences, as it would have allowed the player to take a break and think a little: where to install the next weapon, what part of the ship to repair, and what area requires the use of a special skill. In the end, even though this sequel may not be that different from the original, it's still a solid and fun title that we can recommend if you like the genre.
