Anyways, game looks great, good idea that we can customize our weapons and characters and emblems.

I don't think they'll add killstreaks, thatd be a surprisingly dumb move on their part. It looks good though, really just wanna see the singleplayer footage!

No no no!! I played Uncharted 2 multiplayer and its surprisingly unique and fun (it doesn't compare to some of the other games I play online namely: Battlefield 2, Bad company 2, Battlefield 2142, Team Fortress 2, WarHawk, or Crysis 2 :P)

Man graphically this game looks rather poor compared to the Gears 3 beta. Lack of polygons, flat ass lighting, no motion blur, dead environments with no environmental effect (sandstorm etc)...

no motion blur.. thank the gods.

We know what we see with gears will be what we get, if the original beta was anything to go by, there will be improvements..

Does not help the video is obviously missing the atmospheric effects making it sound as bland as a leek.

bit more exciting, gives you a rundown of their idea's and improvements. i'm finding it hard to get super psyched about something coming in november tho, especially with infamous 2 only 10 days away.

Graphics aside uc2 mp was fun for a while.

Well the multiplayer video can be DLC. They are concentrating too much on it. It may become really good with latest video but SP is the core of this game. Not to be a online shooter

and the single player will be amazing, just like uncharted 2. only it'll have a more feature packed MP this time around too for those that want it.

ND have accepted that a robust MP component is a necesity if you want your game to succeed in a big way. it's a shame, but it's the truth. people bitched about U2 having a MP component as well, claiming it would take too much attention away from single player. and what do you know, uncharted 2's single player was not only better, but longer. ND know what they're doing. MP may be their main focus, but i can guarentee it wont be at the expensive of an amazing single player campaign.

Now THATS what I wanted to see, that setting is amazing, loved it!
Also, liked the small lensflare on the screen with the dust, fantastic visuals all around.

But man, I hope they fix the bullsponge so its like Uncharted 2 after-patch in MP, that was the only thing that stopped me from enjoying U3 beta.

looks really good. but then so did the beta.

love the new animations they've added. saw another vid where the player did this really apprehensive shuffle, where he'd look back and around. it's animations like that that make the character seem more real. even if all you're doing is pushing forward on the analog stick, the character at least LOOKS like he's doing more.

the hip firing, bunny hopping is retarded. the high health is good imo. insta-death/insta-kill MP games (COD) are for noobs since a bullet in the back kills (seriously, where is the skill). in games like uncharted, killzone, halo, the player has a chance to turn and kill you. much better. that's one thing i dont want to see changed. but i want less people bunny hopping and hip firing, and more people aiming and shooting.
