I played a game with a dude who really pissed me off earlier. The UAV can take out helos without getting too scratched up itself just by crashing into it. It's not even a kamikaze move, since the UAV survives the incident. I would hope that's something they could consider changing, but I guess it's not a big deal if people put effort into bringing it down. Most people don't though, even when the thing is raining down rockets and kicking our ass, people still just let it alone.
Seriously people, help kill the UAV.
That's the biggest problem with the battlefield games. They are only as fun as the level of teamwork you wind up with. If you get stuck on a team full of snipers or people who don't attack tanks/UAVs and what not, then the experience can easily become nothing but dull and frustrating.
I just don't see why they can't make the objectives teamwork (healing/ammo/etc) worth far more points and make the kills worth barely any points at all. Killing a tank should be worth a ton of points, sniping someone from far away should be worth very little.
I think that having to play as a team, in order to get proper points to level faster and unlock new weapons and such would just make the typical games so much better. It's a shame that I find myself in far more one-sided games than anything that comes even close to a good contest.

Also don't forget the people playing now (the free demo) are more the curious and casual. When the game is out, and with time, only the more serious will be playing and it will get slowly more interesting as people start playing more team oriented.
@mt_sabao: yea, I agree. I don't think the scoring is as skewed as some people have suggested either. Support points make up for a large portion of the points you'll earn in a round, never mind medals.
At least that's how it should work (with it off).
C4 + S20K = one man army in Rush.
FIX THAT SHIT.
/cry
This has been modified since the Beta you have and the full game requires significantly more C4 to take out the objective. This should put off those who run in with C4 on a suicide mission and favour those who arm the charges on the objective as the preferred way of progressing.
Thank god. Rush might actually be a viable game mode in the retail version.
I take out murder-hole-boy first while Squadie flanks left, taking out another crapper. Unfortunately there is some spawning going down at this moment and Squadie goes down. I zero in on the remaining baddies, made easier by the little red triangles on their heads. One-two enemies go down quickly and- DAMN! RELOADING! The last guy is swinging his knife at my face! I side-step, pig-sticking the fucker as he flies past. I'm thinking home free as I head into the crater, finishing my reload. WRONG! Gunfire peppers the ground around me as I spin to see inevitability charging down my six.
Fortunately, Inevitability can't hit the broad side of a barn and I light up his testicles. Buisness all wrapped up, I hide behind the objective and plant my charge, white-knuckling it as I wait for the shot in the back. Charge set. I book it back up to the lip of the crater to take out anyone brave enough to attempt a disarm. Bad Idea. My vision goes blurry as all those grade A-holes respawn on my ass. As I fall I can see 'em all running down the hill. I tensly wait for my respawn, despairing. Fortunately my other Squadies had shown up and were laying waste to anyone attemping a disarm. My little charge is successful and we are back up to 75! We ended up winning the whole match. It was awesome...
Oooh, Profound, isn't it?
Then EA's servers went down :(

I had a better example of this just a moment ago, but I didn't think to grab a screen shot. Phaethon suggested that perhaps suicides count against your KDR, and while that's possible, it would be really lame. They already count as deaths and negative points, they shouldn't remove kills. I doubt they do anyway.
I just played a game where it said I had 8 kills, which I know for a fact was inaccurate, and especially telling since it also said my best weapon was the S20K... with 33 kills. I would have had to kill myself 25 times for that theory to hold water. I'm sure I didn't!
Hopefully they fix the scoring and stat tracking for the retail game.

Currently playing: Uncharted 2, CoDMW2 (PS3), Torchlight (PC)
I think they may need to nerf shotguns a little, which is a bit of a shame because it's so fun, but I just got 50 kills with the S20K and I think that's nearly double my average with the XM8. It's totally brutal. We're supposed to get a client update today. I wonder if we'll see any balance tweaks or just bug fixes over the current client. Hopefully we'll get a change log.
"We want people to insert the code they get when they buy the game to get access to [DLC content]," senior producer Patrick Bach told MTV Multiplayer. "It's connected to your personal account, more or less, and what we want to do is give you something extra, added value, for that. In the future you will get more content, for free, if you have this."
Sorry guys, maybe tomorrow
I'll keep you updated with our plans during tomorrow.
