Dunno, I don't think many, if any, of the active GSYrs have played the Beta. Reading the reactions on GAF though DICE seem to be onto something very good (never trust GAF hype). The spotting system might need some work, seems way too easy to just spam the button.
I'm waiting for the PC Beta but it's been pushed back to Jan.
Behold! I did not lie to you!!
One time use.. ya know.
The shooting is way better on BC2 than BF2. But it's worst on the class department. Missing Spec ops, Support, and the old good Commander.
Hate the Attack class carrying ammo, and giving medics the LMG's, this basically cut the support class. And giving c4 to Sniper, took spec ops out.
The gameplay seems fun, even though it's only one map, after near 30 hours i got bored, and now i only want to test the PC version. The attack/deffend map was fun, but hard to say more, since only 1 mode and 1 map. And still didn't see nothing about air vehicles.
You can Spawn on any alive squad member too. The map is quite big, but since it's objective based to move forward, no more sneak in to the end of the map to capture a flag. Miss the squads splitting and each trying capture distant objectives, hopefully it has big maps like from BF2.
I love the destruction too, no more hiding behind walls, boom!
Personally i enjoyed the beta much, and can't wait for PC version.
EDIT: That video with the dog looks much better.
Mods, stop changing my SIG! I'm going to end up banning you!

Well, the gameplay is average but it's in 1080fuckingp, since when did Youtube become the market leader in terms of quality? Never imagined a day when free internet videos were too hi res for my LCD. I probably should start crying now. :)
fake edit: Just googled it and it seems that it's just been added recently.
in fact my favorite mode was for many years conquest, and after playing gold rush with the first BF:BC1 don't want conquest again. personal taste i guess :)

Edit: And we finally have something substantial about the PC Beta.
Edit2: The PC specs for this seem to be INSANE:
Processor: Quadcore
Main memory: 2GB
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 260 / HD 4870
Graphics memory: 512MB
OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
Free HDD space: 15GB for Digital Version, 10GB for Disc Version
The system specs were released a while back, and yeah, they're pretty daunting. Hopefully my measly dual core can handle it :P
After playing the ps3 beta, i'm almost sure i will buy this, but really wanted to try it on PC first :/
But it's kinda obvious that Betas these days are more of a way to promote the game with strong word of mouth (a reason for IW to not have a Beta for MW2, because it already had that). The way they are given out doesn't suggest otherwise.

The squad deathmatch mode sounds a lot more interesting after watching the most recent interview on Gametrailers. I've always been a fan of multi-team modes in FPS, which is an area that remains largely unexplored. Multi-team custom games have always been a lot of fun in Halo, even though I've rarely encountered them in Halo 3. Can you even do multi-team CTF? I seem to recall doing as much in Halo 2 but I could be mistaken.
It also seems like this 4v4v4v4 (or whatever) mode will put a heavy enphasis on infantry combat, something that BF fans have always demanded. The guy in the interview mentions that there's still one more mode to be revealed.
