Meh.., just give me the game already cant wait to play this bad boy.

so do i, but it's looking more and more likely it's going to be the ps3 version i pick up. i cant say no to joker AND a digital comic, AND addition challenge rooms. the joker alone would be difficult enough.

sadly i'm gonna miss out on the achievments...but i'll live.

360 version for me... because it's the only option I have.

It's a shame that I'll be missing out on the Joker - well, playing as the Joker on release anyway - but I'm sure I'll cope.

Yeah i'll be going with the 360 version as well...as it stands now it's my preferred console for multiplatform games; it's quieter (really, my PS3 sounds like a freaking jumbo jet), no install crap unless i want to, i like the controller better, i like the 360 UI much better, achievements and so forth.

Looks to be a great game though, a bit hyped :)

you PS3 is louder then the 360? how is that even possible? my ps3 is quiter then even my Wii (although thats only the sound of the disc spining)

while i usually stick with the 360 for multiplat titles (you only need to look at my gamerscore to see that..lol) no amount of achievements can make me forget about the freaking joker.

looking forward to it tho, will probably rent it either way tho. just wish content wasnt exclusive...it's just stupid as hell.

yeah, i heard that about some peoples PS3... mines deathy silent tho and stays that way.

my 360, sounds like a jet engine, it's louder then my PC...lol....on the plus side, it runs nice and cool, unlike my first 2 which could replace my heater in the winter.

And surprising as well. No offence to Rocksteady or Eidos, but Batman: Arkham Asylum isn't exactly the biggest title being released this year - although it will still get a decent level of attention. Usually it's the massive multiplatform titles which get exclusive content on a particular system, as a means of swaying gamers to a certain side. Just look at GTA4 or Fallout 3.

So it's surprising and, for me in particular, disappointing. But like I said, I'll manage.

Oh, and my 360 is bloody loud... it's extremely irritating. I have to turn the volume up extra loud on my TV most of the time to try and down out the loudness of my 360.

I find this... to be the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard on these forums lol. I've been trying to red ring my 360 for a fewmonths now since its video card fried and microsoft won't cover it under their warranty... so I leave it on as much as possible and its the loudest device ever and i have a PC with 7 fans blowing at full blast. I can't even hear my ps3... u must have a messed up ps3

The demo is out on EU PSN right now, its 1460 MB.

I am downloading it now but waiting to try out the PC version as well for better viusuals :P

Yeah I read that earlier, atleast there is a PS3 demo out right now to hold off until a PC version is out.

I sorta doubt that's the case but it could be. I don't see PC sales cannibalizing console sales in most markets, outside of some select locations in Europe (Germany?). And at the end of the day, a sale is a sale. The fact that they're adding PhysX support among other things seems to indicate that they're not simply lying about their motives..... and why would they, anyway?

When it's a big franchise YES, they can take the risk. EA+Activision DOES NOT EQUAL everyone btw. look at Capcom/ubisoft to name but a few.

Come on... Ubisoft and Capcom? You're talking about console first titles, that are console first for a LOT of reasons. They were developed from the ground up for the consoles and it takes time and care to make them actually perform well on the PC. You have to retool interfaces, re-optimize code, etc. Even Ubisoft has done a bunch of simultaneous releases (Far Cry 2, for example) and even typically non-PC-first franchises like Assassin's Creed 2 are planned simultaneous releases.

And lastly, when did I say that EA and Activision = everyone? *YOU* said, "you hardly see a simultaneous console/PC releases these days," and that's increasingly not true this late in the generation. So.. pffft.

I already said that you could be right, despite your other ridiculous false statements in this thread. I don't get worked up over PC discussion, just ignorance (including my own). Your comments about the lack of simultaneous planned releases on the PC is what I commented on after your original post. It went from wrong to wronger when you brought Ubisoft into it, and slammed my EA and Activision examples. Of course the worlds two biggest videogame publishers have the greatest number of examples of..... anything..... but that hardly means that THQ, Ubisoft, and several other publishers haven't and won't continue to release games on the PC day-and-date with their console brothers.

I plated it.

The demo is short, but pretty cool. Combat is good and all but seemed very "automatic" sometimes.
Attacks and animations were fluid and the attacks had a very good hit detection and weight which is hard to get in such games.

Anyway, one thing is for sure, the very intro made me think of the old Batman animated which i LOVED when I was a kid. Always watched it around 6 o clock in the morning when I woke up until 1 hour later to go to school.
