Yeah, that kind of makes me wonder, is that limit of 4 agility stars also the limit in the retail version?

I'd love to be able to go even higher and further than in the demo...

You can get to the top when you're maxed out. There's an achievement for it I believe. Pretty sweet you can do that in the demo, might have to have a go :)

Must say they've been pretty generous with the demo in terms of what they're allowing you to do. Some demos are waay more limited.

It's a great demo, just wish there was no time restriction. Still, even with the limits, it's damn fun. Last night I just kept making room after room for system-linked co-op. Every time we ran out of time, we just came back for more.

I was trying to get my driving up to four stars in the last game we played, seems that running over gang members is one of the easiest ways to achieve this in the demo, but I just missed it by 10 points last night. May try again for that in a bit, would love to see the fully upgraded agency cars.

I think four stars is indeed the limit Jato, but I don't have much of a problem with that. When you level all of your stats fully you'll be pretty much unstoppable. Plus I imagine that the pace of leveling is MUCH slower in the full release.

I somehow doubt it. When I was about to reach level (I can't remember, I guess 4), the guy told me........"you are almost at the max agility level" or something like that. So I guess that's it. 100ft is A LOT, think about it.

And what do you mean by going further jato? Further up?

Now, I heard a new thing which to me was awesome!!! When I upgraded one of my skills, I think it was strength, the agency guy told me that the explosions I create will have a bigger shock wave or something along those lines, basically stronger explosions! Just what I needed!

EDIT: Thinking about it, it might not be the max, there's still lots of orbs.......but maybe that's just because the demo makes every orb more powerful, I don't know, I guess we'll have to hear that interview.......or maybe the developer meant something else.

That's from upping your explosives skill, which is easy to do with a heavy use of mines/grenades.

Speaking of explosives, I discovered something last night that is just too damn cool. Mines are freaking AWESOME. You can stick them to vehicles, as they pass by or you can do the whole "Jihaad Jeep" thing from BF2. Strapping your ride with several mines, and then ghost riding it into a group of enemys is a blast, no pun intended ;)

I think the reason for there being so many orbs is that you'll level much, much slower in the final game. At the pace that the demo levels you up, you'd hit level 4 agility with only a fraction of the total orbs and not even touching the rooftop races.

You should try it, it's REALLY entertaining, can't wait to see what use I can get out of this in co-op.

One thing I found terribly amusing about the whole thing: The explosion gives you experience orbs for explosives when it kills people--but if the car you used to strap the explosives to slams into anyone, those people will drop driving experience :)

I don't think it'll be a problem. And if I'm so sure about buying the game it's because of the great demo, and that includes leveling up to level 4.

There's still lots of land we can't go to, and it's going to take us a lot more time in the final game to level up, I don't see looking for orbs getting old that quickly either. There are 700, that's a lot of jumping around. And it starts to get very fun when your abilities are leveled up, but that's the time when the five minute timer comes up so it's perfectly set up. Lots of guns we haven't used, and I'm sure it'll be crazy with everything leveled up to max, which is not possible in the demo.

I'll try not to play the demo that much so I don't spoil the game, but this is a must buy for me. And with co-op, how can you even think about the game getting old quickly?

I think the time limit is partially in place to prevent you from maxing out your character. I was just trying to get to level 4 in driving, and it's a pain in the ass. You can make it, but it doesn't leave you much time to mess around afterwords.

I hate the demo. Everytime I get owned with the timer, the game's fun factor forces me to reboot it back up and play again till the timer runs out, and thus repeat again.When I think I'm done, I level a new ability, like strength, agility and so on, thus more time sucked up. I try and bash the graphics, but then it gets to the point where I just don't give a fuck anymore. Since I'm having a blast. Then don't even get me started on retarded lame hella fun co-op. Blah at this stupid demo, Blah!

Oh god I forgot about the co-op. Yeah that will definatly provide some longevity and many situations where you and a friend create your own fun.

Edit : Also those roof top races are really fun. Has anyone made it to the top of the ferris wheel ?

I hate this demo, it owns! ;) Co-op is great, although I get some strange satisfaction from either ghosting my car-bomb into my "partner" or even booting his ass off of a building, so watch out for that.

It would be pretty difficult to get all of them, driving alone takes me nearly the whole timer to get four stars in, and you can't really up anything else while you're driving. Probably the hardest, I'd love to hear from someone who has done it quickly so I could figure it out..

First thing I up is my agility. Then I go by the pier and get all the orbs I can find by that fair ground. Then, I climb the Crack Tower (I don't know what you call the agency HQ...) and get all the orbs up there. Then I jump down, and die. Somehow I managed to max out my strength and firearms ability on the way.

I'd say those three..hell even explosives too are easiest to level up all together. Driving would be the hardest one to get in along with everything else wtihin the timer.

If you just do all the missions in a car its pretty easy. Me and my friend got rid of violetta by having one of us in the car, throw it up the stairs, and drive around mowing down her henchmen. He maxed out his other abilities and driving. Although I don't think he got explosions all the way. He probably could've since he had the grenade launcher.

This game needs some kind of replay editor. Let us download the videos online.

The one-man letter writing campaign has been deployed to the relevant people. I actually think they'll get this in a form of DLC. The delivery technology (save n share) is already there and the replay function has been developed somewhat by Real time worlds.
