AI and "Textures and objects can be distracting as they pop into view, and the frame rate doesn't always retain a slick pace. Visual glitches can also annoy." seem to be the main issues alongside a boring, characterless story and an univentfull first 3 or so hours...i can handle the lacklustre story, but the pop-in and framerate i can't, i knew that would be a problem from the very begining.

it's a shame really, if this was a more consistant experience i think it could have easily rivalled the best shooters this gen has given us.

Its easily the best looking console game out there imo, some of the videos i've seen of the campaign are just mind blowing!

Seriously people are thinking this game is the best looking console game?

What happened?

oh wait....IGN said so.

I got the game btw. PC version that is.

Funny thing is, Crysis 1 still looks better graphics-wise.

Though they feel like 2 different games because of the urban setting.

I have no idea what IGN said, havent been to that site in years but its pretty clear from all the single player vids out there that it is the best looking game on consoles.

I wouldn't compare Crysis 2 with Uncharted 2 or Killzone 2/3....those games are very "controlled" and linear to the point where the programmers know exactly what their respective engines are capable off and they don't ever leave those boundaries ever....but from what I have seen Crysis 2 just throws all kinds of stuff at you and engine boundaries are ignored
