I wouldn't call it shitty either, because it's way too good for that. I'd just say there won't be much replay value, but it should last us for a good 20 hours (to really finish the game). It is going to get old fairly quickly, but we'll have a good time before that happens.
I myself am 90% sure of buying this game. Sure, they could have added a more robust physics engine, and include the zombies in those physics which would make the gameplay a whole lot better. They could have designed the game in a way that we don't have to restart just for missing out on an important mission.
But I need a new game this month, and that would be Dead Rising or Saint's Row, and this looks a whole lot more polished, and it's the kind of game you won't get that often. Sadly for Saint's Row, I don't accept such horrible technical problems (I don't think it'll be fixed as they say), and I know there will be plenty of those games, including GTA.
I just gotta read a couple of proper reviews, but like I've said for the 10000th time, I think I'm getting this one :D

Yeah, I dunno, at first when I saw this game, I thought it was just another boring hack & slash game and I didn't even bother with it after that.
But when the media was a bit shy at some point, I decided to dig into it a bit more, to see if I could get into it.
And surprisingly, I started to see the fun in it, the ridiculous ways you can kill the zombies, the fact that you can roam freely in a huge shopping mall, the pretty good graphics with smooth performance all got me very interested in this game.
Now, all the feedback I hear about this game, isn't all that great, but I think it's worth a shot, and it's definitely a nice change for what I have in my 360 games collection at the moment.
I still haven't tried the demo, and I also have watched the 1up review yet, so I dunno about that.
And yeah, I feel exactly the same about Saint's Row, I've had some fun with the demo, despite the horrible framerate.
I actually went on a Tour de City with the train today and that was rather amusing, but if that is how the final version is, I'll definitely won't buy it, even if it's just a mather of principals.
However, I really hope the final version is smooth, cause I know I can have some fun with this game....

Yes I know, I played this demo too many times.

After seen this video I got completly sold on this game. I cant wait to kill zombies with my convertible.
Does anyone know how to choose the attack method with weapons though? The sickle and sledge hammer have two different attacks. A wide sweeping attack, and an acute focused attack killing a single zombie. For me, these attacks alternate at random. What are your guys' findings?

The NPC's add a lot to the game, sounds like Capcom could have done better with the demo but hey, give them some kudos for getting it out on a Friday and before the game is released.
Sigh… :)
So far I've loved the N3 demo, Saint's Row is pretty fun, and Dead Rising looks like it could be a winner... definitely buying N3 but can't decide if I should get Saint's Row or Dead Rising yet this month. Can't afford all three. :(
I mainly agree with the 1up guys, it has it's quirks and is far from perfect, and there's a lot of room for improvement, but it's just to hilarious not to pick up...
Though, killing the zombies would get old after a while, if the story holds up and the missions are fun enough, this can be a very fun game, for sure.
Anyone run in to that cutscene where he ends up in some storage room full with zombies, but only seems bothered by the wasp that's anoying him, that's just to funny...:)
