So yeah, you pretty much suck at FM, they've got 1-button driving just for you. And by the way, what is this "huge range of features" that FM3 is missing, and how does that not apply the other way around?

@Jin, that's a good shot, but I wouldn't call it the best from FM3 thus far. And yeah, you can tell the improvements with this new build, pretty damn cool.

Apparently the cockpit view adjusts as you do things like speed up or brake.

That's pretty cool I think.

Well, that depends on what they really mean by that (yeah, I read the twitter--doesn't really say much). We saw it do that already since E3, but it does look like it needs a bit more.

Eugh, it might help to actually read what i posted. I said F3 is visually and usability wise what F2 should have been, i said FEATURE WISE F2 WAS GREAT. I said nothing about the feature set of F3 either way. I was making the point that turn 10 had been generally lazy when coming to this gen compared to PD who had pretty much got the most they could from their game graphically straight away. And GT is a helluva lot easier to slip into and play than forza.

One button racing aint for me, i LIKE racing, I don't like racing the same course for anything more than about 10 laps, it gets boring and repetative and the reward at the end of it doesnt justify the effort put in. Thats what i was getting at, and i had this huge argument before that F2 penalises you so heavily,maybe not completely on purpose, but ertainly for the more casual racers. GT is so much more accessable, to just jump in, do a few laps and be satisfied at the end of it. F2 on the other hand, i jump in, do a race, realise that i need to do another dozen races before i can afford an new car or something and just return the thing to the case for a few months.

I loved that other one because it looked soo natural, the lighting and colour pallette looked just right.

I think the games is just currently going through its tweaks and tuning for best results. Like compare these shots to the E3 ones, theres just lots of little improvemennts here and there especially in the lighting department and the alloys on the cars have also improved alot.

It doesn't look all that bad to me. I think the detail on the steering wheel is pretty nice and the back of that other vehicle looks pretty good. I don't really mind the look of the track as it won't bother me as I'm going at whatever speed past it.

I'm sorry to say but these screens look like forza 2. The returning cars seem to be imported Forza 2 models and aren't recieving the same treatment as the new car additions, which is what we've seem most so far.

Anyways, that S4 looks HORRIBLE. I already said so in FM.net. Seriously, that has the taillights we saw in FM2, which are simply bad. It's like missing half the detail compared to pretty much all other shots we've seen.

I'm sorry for vspectra because that probably means the S2000 will look retarded.

Depending on the distance to the cars other (lower detailed) models are used, and the differences can be anything from subtle to major. I don't think Turn10 spent that much time on this aspect (like I'm pretty sure PD did) so the cars can indeed look hit and miss at certain distances. It's hard to believe they didn't remodel the old cars, they would look horribly out of place in the gallery where everything is shown in high detail.

Yes I know that, we've seen pics of a BMW where you can clearly see different LOD, it's ok to lower the quality as the camera goes out, but it's not ok that it look horrible at any one point. I don't think the other shots are fake or anything, but I think this tells us the game will be VERY inconsistent when it comes to car models.

Well it looks like the same old problem Turn10 had with FM2: Different teams working on different car models with major differences in the quality of their work. They need to sort that shit out.
