Well, the gore is certainly in. ^^^

In other more timid news:

Gears of War 4 - Behind the Scenes with Ramin Djawadi POSSIBLE CAMPAIGN SPOILERS

Getting Ramin to do the score is a big get considering what he just delivered at the end of GoT Season 6. Fantastic composer.

I jumped up for joy when I heard Ramin is doing the score... Light of the Seven: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFK0yG8xG5I is the best thing I have ever heard!

I have read that it is some of the best music ever produced for television, if not the best, but I haven't watched a whole lot of TV so I'm hardly the authority on whether that statement is true or not. What I do know is that it was perfect for what was happening on-screen, and a mix up to what we were so used to hearing in GoT up until that point.

Ramin is slowly becoming one of the greats.

17 minutes of Horde 3.0 gameplay from PAX

Game is shaping up to be packed to the rafters with features and game modes, I hope Rod stays on the franchise for a long time because you can tell that his experience is really shining through where Gears is concerned.

Can't wait until October 11th.

He is the best composer I have ever listened to in my opinion. The GoT soundtrack from all seasons is in constant play in my house :)

As for Gears 4, it is indeed shaping up very very nicely. The game is pre-ordered for me. Currently playing Earthlock Festival of Magic (awesome little gem!), next is ReCore and then Gears 4 followed by FF15 in November and that's my year sorted :)

And any game that features characters who perform one-arm pullups to go up ladders is automatically in my good books. Gears of War 4 features such characters. There's no doubt that the long-term appeal of Gears 4 lies in its suite of multiplayer modes, but I would 100 per cent recommend playing through the campaign. It's some of the best fun I've had in a shooter for quite some time.

I'm really interested in what type of sales figures Microsoft will be able to get on such a closed platform as the Windows store is.
