Its going to be epic, the gameplay REVEAL! of the teased ingame scenes of the trailer :)
so what ? is that going to make the game any better? doubt it its technical jargon like TRUE HD sounds good, but at the end of the day when the dust has settled, it dont mean shit
still i dont mind :) keep the info coming.
I think i have stood in poo
I will definitely watch the story and all that from youtube when proper quality is out because I dont have much money to spend on "one time experience" titles, and from my own experience with previous titles, hype gets me but later I wont touch it or get bored and want to sell, GOW3 will be no different whatsoever.
I guess I can only wait for Castlevania Lords of Shadow to be my "next big thing" in this genre that is coming out.
PS. Yes I will watch the videos on GTTV and enjoy them but thats as far as I go.

To run a software with 60fps and an olympus-load of processing involved with emphasis on "no-Loading" making a game feel like a single intact experence... a run from a HDD would be considered the ideal-most scenario wouldn't you agree? :) Its still a feat that with all this at the offet, gow3 devs have made it run from an external media... and not a HDD!
...because most hi-fi PC games take butt-load of resources to run a crappy artless (usually military) game/shooter and launch benchmarks for 600$ GPUs that boast running the game at 45fps max with 15-20gb installation to HDD, using extra 4gbs of RAM and still stutter on it :):):), would really love to see 'em run it from BDs or DVDs heh heh heh ;)
That made me wonder and think PCs as always bottlenecked ;)
The Guy from GTTV tweets that the spoilers have been reduced to a minimum and an alarm at Cronos reveal :)
The show will be online thursday, i.e. tomorrow :)

I dont like playing games on PC and thats end of story, BUT i know as well as everyone else what EVER our beloved ps3 and 360s can do pcs can not only do better but piss all over.
Mind you RTS point and click odd exclusive shooter i do enjoy on pc.
And sath, dude... RENT IT!
I think i have stood in poo
The original xbox did wonders with DirectX 8.1 what basically did nothing solid on a PC with 5x more resources than the xbox and it always amazed me why DMC3 needed 1gb of RAM on a PC while it ran fine on a 32mb RAM PS2, the only betterment on PC being resolution? thats all???
Same is the case in this gen, for all PC boasting up to be, there is Crysis... an engine made better and better for the last 9 years(Crytek started PC specific outclass engine in 2001), or maybe we have Stalker and a few others but with all those resources, why not the optimistic approach? Why still no cloth or interactive water in Crysis?, why still rope physics algorithms for vegetation?... something' must be lacking ;)
And it was not all hayday for PCs, with the launch of Dreamcast, it was turmoil, and PowerVR realeased a 3DFX chip for PCs to enable them to work at consoles' efficiency level, watch this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eixjSUTAl4
At 00:19, listen to something that was used for the first time in this conflict, 'PCs have finally caught up with the consoles' heh! Right. It was a industry over campaign that started with the PS2 generation to save PC gaming, to keep the business expanding which, due to overwhelming success of PS1 and the impending success of PS2 was going to have a sorrowless death . Every newsspace, every publication started praising the qualities of a PC(gaming agility perspective) right from 2001... no body gave a clear image that PCs eat more money and give way less games, let alone new experiences ;) but before that? you've seen the video!
So if I have to believe that on Nov. 2005, there was no PC in market more powerful than a x360 then PCs are lacking, if I were to say on Nov. 2006 there was a PC in market more capable than a PS3 then I'm solidly wrong... you see, PCs are consistently upgraded, with lots of $s that is, and to run a few games that hardly win any awards, eating up all those resources, being worked on a single engine for years and years... in that respect, PCs are the true underdogs... moreover, my point, they just can't run 30+gb for goodness with out a HDD at 60fps, prove me wrong ;)
I'm out of this... lets wait for yet another 'CONSOLE POTENTIAL REALIZER' alongside Uncharted-2 and GT5... gow3!
I think i have stood in poo
and second of all " they just can't run 30+gb for goodness with out a HDD at 60fps,"
thats like having a tripple headed dildo its useless, the pc has NO use to do that what so ever, installs are not this life consuming thing that everyone makes them out to be
as for 60fps a second? that has nothing to do with what format its running off, thats programming skills.
Not arguing with you here dude, just saying that.. well yeah.
I think i have stood in poo
If a game doesnt appeal to me on the core thing from the game, then I wont bother (I know this from experience :P).
For example I wont buy Bayonetta because i dislike the style of the game, and considering its all over it, I cant "work around it" to say "well thank god thats over". combat is great though, polished and really in-depth to make it fresh like NG and DMC.
With God of War, its the opposite of Bayonetta, its the combat that isnt good and polished IMO, and as a fanatic of the genre, its just bad compared to the ones i mentioned, makes GOW and DI looks meh.
But everything else is great with GOW (except Kratos, hate the model).
So yeah, considering I am going to PLAY the game combat is extremely important to me and unfortunetly, I rather save my money and anticipation for a better title within the genre and just watch the videos of GOW3 when people start uploading it.
You are like the modern day equivalent of a peasant in the dark ages, something being on youtube just proves it to be true, no point in questioning who said it or how accurate it is. The way i remember it games always looked better on the PC, if you had the right hardware. Also, you say that PCs are wasteful? You can't just compare the numbers straight over. On a console you can have very hardware specific and optimized code allowing you to do a lot more with a lot less, in the case of a PC there is about one different combination of GPU, CPU and motherboard for every user out there, not to mention that you run a OS in the background, but it is a lot more versatile and open in the end.
Besides, are we talking performance or cost here? I won't argue that PCs are much more expensive than consoles, but that does not detract from the performance. Costs a lot, especially if you continually upgrade, but has better performance. I don't see any reason why a high-end PC could not run GoW at 60 fps. Is no install a factor? Possibly, if you are desperately trying to prove the superiority of the PS3.
On a side note my PS3 starts chugging when i go to gametrailers.com.
