Heroic is definitely tougher than 3 but no where near as hard as waiting for the game to install.
Great job Bungie and thanks.

Right up there with the cave levels in Gears 2.

I tried some forge stuff this morning too. I was a little disappointed by the quality of what was online this morning, but I know there will be much better content down the line. Every Lockout remake that I've tried is OKAY, but not quite. The Beaver Creak knockoff I grabbed was horrible. The best forge map I've seen thus far is a big ramp. Yup. Most well constructed custom map is just a ramp. :P
Despite all the talk, legendary is still pretty easy to rush through on co-op. I guess there's really not much they can do about that.

I don't consider myself to be a good player mind, I'm just determined.

As for the 360, i'm just waiting for mine to break down, giving me a reason to get a slim with a hard drive that is not the laughing stock of every USB flash drive out there :P

Or you could just leave Reach in it and not switch the thing off.

Thoughts, it looks great and I really enjoyed the last mission I played the one in space. Other than that, I'm a little bit unsure. I've not had my "The Ark" moment from Halo 3 yet. The characters don't really resonate with me. Jorge especially I find annoying. It was so obvious someone would have to stay on the Corvette that I didn't care and I especially didn't care it was him. I'm not completely sure I agree with this "Halo 1 feel" either, it's a lot like Halo 3 in places. That's not bad, as I enjoyed the middle levels of Halo 3 immensely.
What I was disappointed in however was the intro to Tip of the Spear. The cutscene where the armies are rushing each other got me pretty pumped, but it's a complete cocktease. The night mission too, isn't a patch on Truth and Reconciliation.
In short, I'm not sure what to make of the campaign yet so I might be coming across overly negative. One thing I will say though is that fighting Elites rock. I didn't hate the Brutes as much as most but they are more fun for sure.
Fortunately my broadband was fixed so I had a go on MP this morning and had a blast. Haemorrhage was great fun and I'm glad to see there is a BTB playlist. I actually quite enjoyed Spire too, which I was concerned about.
