Well, I've been playing for a couple hours now and I am enjoying myself. Haven't had to much trouble with fighting yet but I haven't quite reached the first boss. I've just stopped in that hut in the mountains. I guess its coming up quite soon. Probably gonna get owned.

Beat it first go. Is it normal to be healing a fair few times during that fight? Also, these random encounters I'm running into after that boss fight have been quite tough. My party's GC is down and I don't know how to get it back up again. These fights ain't going well.

During boss fights YES, it is normal to be healing a lot but you're just on the first boss so defending sometimes is the best tool you've got. About the Wall thing now, right where you are I dont think you can restore your wall but you will meet mortals who have a skill called WALL by which you can restore the Wall HP. healing up your characters in the front wont restore you Wall HP.
So try and keep the wall as high as possible. If you have the accesory with white magic equip it to Jensen and make him cast Shile on Kaim and Seth to keep your wall from falling quickly.

Depends, after every battle you should heal your characters to 100% as your wall number is the equivalent to the HP of the character on the front row.

So for example if you start a battle with 1 hp on both character on the front line your wall will be 2.

Anyone know if they plan on patching out the load game exploit? The way you can save, quit to main menu, then reload with full hp/mp is pretty cheap and really ruins the use of items. Other than that the game is awesome.

I know about that, but absolutely refuse to take advantage of it. It takes the fun out of the game.

The devs were very smart with this game to be honest. In areas where you just knew mass random battles would've been a terrible idea they massively tone it down. The planning that went into the game is amazing in all regards.

It's unavoidable if you have to save and quit the game in the middle of a dungeon. That's how I first noticed it. I was down to only a few hp healing items and few mp in the crimson forest/ruins when I had to leave the game. When I came back I found out my party was back to full hp/mp and there was nothing I could do about it. It turned a pretty rough time into a cakewalk. How hard could it have been for Mistwalker to include party hp and mp in the save file?

Are there any plans to release a downloadable thingy to add more difficulty levels ? I would love to replay the game at a higher difficulty :D I still havent finished the game, mind you, I'm after all those sidequests now.

the secret requirements for all fights exsept The Final Immortal boss:

Light

1 - See the Combination Attack at least 3 times.
2 - Defeat all enemies with your characters.
3 - Let a number of small bugs get absorbed. (around 10?)
4 - Defeat at least 5 White Dogs.
5 - Defeat the Puppet Master quickly. (within 3 turns?)

Middle

1 - Save both Kelelon Papa and Mama.
2 - Defeat the King Owl first. Hint: Anti-Poison a must-have.
3 - Do not let anyone get defeated.
4 - Do not use any items or magic.
5 - Let all enemies self-destruct within 2 turns. Hint: Use fire to initiate the process.

Heavy

1 - Make sure the Raptor Leader appears, and kill it. Hint: Keep at least one Raptor alive to summon reinforcements until it appears.
2 - Front row characters must not be defeated. Hint: Pray hard the frog dosen't squash any frontliners lol.
3 - Defeat at least 15 Doll Queens.
4 - Defeat the Kelelon Brigade Leader first.
5 - Do not use any Skills. Hint: Magic is allowed.

Super Heavy

1 - Do not let anyone be defeated. Hint: Anti-Poison a must. Do all you must to keep the Human alive.
2 - Defeat the Dog. Hint: Have someone be equipped with a Strong Poison Ring (and Presevere skill), then get a Perfect. The dog will then die in 4 turns.
3 - Have at least 10 favourable Coin Tosses. Hint: All-Flara x2 per turn, then pray. HARD.
4 - Defeat the Silver Kelelon before it runs away. Hint: Gamble away.

U must kill him in 15 turns

U need:

1) "Double Cast" skill to Ming and Sarah
2) "Double Item" and "Persistence" to all
3) Kaim and Seth in front row, Sarah, Ming, Sed in back row
4) Sed must heaal all NOT attak
5) Buy ~ 20 "Heal Full" and 10 "Resurect" in Kelolone Vilage
6) Use "Compleate Defense" by Kaim and Seth
7) Use "All-Shealldus" and "All-Barrikade"
8) Kaim and Seth must use "Ultimatum Hit" Skill
9) Sarah and Ming must use "Double Cast" "Divide"
10) If Sed die someone another must revieve him (use "Goddess Medicine")

After u kill him within 15 tearns u will get achievment ^_____________^

Don't forget take all prizes from man from the left side of cage

WOW! I have just finished the game and all I can say is AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME ending! absolutely brilliant wrap up .... Emotional, funny, sad and most importantly COMPLETE ...

This is one Franchise to Harvet Microsoft.... bring on Lost Odyssey 2

Now I will go back and do all of those sidequests I still have to finish :D
