heh, coming from Famitsu 360, that's kind of bad lol.

rental confirmed if true. for the slow uptight people, I'm kidding

I just want the game out already. I'm pretty confident this game will own, well at lesat judging from all that I've read and seen(20/20 thing aside). DMC4, SSBB, and LO all in the same month? Plus College? Yup, should be interesting :p

Haha I figured you were kidding or maybe not :P, but I'm positive 80% of the people interested in this game now wont end up getting it anyway because reviews will easily sway their decision and this game is destined to get crapped on in reviews. I'll look at reviews, but only just to see what they say. Ultimately their opinions wont matter to me (unless they say what I want to hear hahah) this game was a guaranteed purchase the moment it was announced :)

heh you already know me :) I give the finger to any review I don't like when it comes to a game I'm interested in.

If I myself can't find the reasons for why I shouldn't purchase a game then its still a purchase. I was originally excited about 99 nights when I thought the story would be great, but then I found out how disjointed it all was and that I expected it to be a much different game than it really was so I ended up not getting it. So regardless of what a reviewer says about lost odyssey and I KNOW its going to get shit on.

Old tired game mechanics
Bad story (its anime stuff and not final fantasy)
Non interesting characters (not final fantasy)
Bad pacing
Too many damn discs packed full of too many cutscenes

1up review gives it no higher than a 7.5
gamespot 7.0 (perhaps even a 6 Enchanted Arms will have a better score)
IGN 81
Gamesradar 90
Teamxbox 83

Time to wait till next week for the Japanese Gafer's impressions. Hopefully, it's all good. Sucks DCharlie was banned. I was looking forward to seeing his pictures. He took some real good ones for Blue Dragon back when it was released. Oh well, good thing we still have Blim

In other news

- battle tempo is extremely agreeable

- boss fights are tough but if you polish your tactics, they are fun

- Kaim's existence in the story is, according to Shigematsu's writing, very deep and well crafted. A virtuous story, as Sakaguchi also said

- event scenes progress with beautiful graphics, impressive

- battles have a noticeable effect on your characters, which develop in an enjoyable way

- it's a good RPG for adults to play and take lots of time playing through

- scenario is very "bitter"

- 4 DVDs with amazing video and beautiful music

- it's a shame about frequent loading and the poor lip-syncing (cause it was synced for the USA voice acting haha)

heh, pretty funny to hear them complaining about the lip-syncing. Us folks in the west have had to deal with that kind of stuff for years when it came to playing their games. Oh how the tables have turned!

LOL I don't buy that 20 hour worth of cutscenes crap lol. That was a mistake. Its 8 I think with one hour being ingame? Or was it 5? I forgot.

4 discs? 20-25 hours long? Oh come on... no way not if the person even remotely attempts to appreciate what is there in the game. If someone rushes their way through the game? A huge waste, but then maybe its possible like that :)
