I thought FFXII sucked. Never bothered to finish it since it bored me after 5 hours of gameplay. I know people complain about the character art of LO but personally I thought that FF12 was worst.

Sorry dont fancy playing a MMO style RPG so thank god it is not liek that (not that i did not like it i thought it was amazing, just dont fancy that kinda style play at the momment)

I was Very excited during the first Ten hours and I did in did post very positive remarks on Playsyde (Ah good time! :D) but then the game became a piece of a junk when I just couldnt care less about the characters and go sick of the repetitive combat system

Well I find that with many games, looking back at my experience with Blue Dragon, I liked it and at the time loved it, but now look at it differently.

I'm sure the same will be true with LO, excitement can cloud your judment i think.

Absolutely. My biggest disappointment with Blue Dragon was actually how WAY easy it was. sure we have the impossible mode but nothing beats playing a hard jrpg the first time around when you dont know when to expect a boss and how tough he could be. This is in fact the very reason I LOVE Final Fantay X. You basically could die anytime.

Agreed, the only complaint I had was the difficulty, I was disappointed when I wasn't able to change the difficulty half way through.

My opinion of Blue Dragon is for the most part exactly the same as it was before only now that I look back at it I say they could've done a bit more beating around the bush in regards to the progression of the story. Toss more "wow didn't expect this" conflicts our way and I would've liked if they tried to confuse me more as to the story.

Blue Dragon had those moments, but reflecting back not as many as I personally would've liked. Still a great game in my book though I enjoyed it thoroughly. If what Sakaguchi says about Lost Odyssey having many many events and takes more of an event to event approach then it might just have what I wanted to see more of in Blue Dragon. The confusion is there in full force because I have absolutely no idea how these people are even immortal much less Kaim and there are so many things I don't know about him. The events also appear to be pretty plentiful from what I've seen so far and best of all they're all made to seem pretty significant.

The thousand years of dreams will only add to this. If all was handled correctly Lost Odyssey could be pretty damn incredible. Can't wait to see how this thing looks on my HDTV.

That surprised me bigtime as well lol I didn't see that coming either not by a long shot, and thats the kinda thing I'm talking about. Doesn't need to be THAT huge, but more situations like that where some totally unforeseen, important events take place in the story.

Blue Dragon had moments like that, but I wanted more distractions on the way to each climax that were meaningful. Haha jolli Lebato's losing his touch I expected better than that. Got more than enough videos to know it looks better than plain during gameplay so I take these screens for what they're worth it looks better in video form :)

I played and loved WoW and became extremely addicted to it before I forced myself to not play it, but absolutely despised Final Fantasy 12 to the point of feeling strongly that it is the worst final fantasy game ever made because I felt the combat choice was a very bad decision for a Final Fantasy game. Of course that isn't the only reason I hate Final Fantasy 12, but it goes to show that what might be acceptable for someone in one type of game may not fly quite so well in another.

I like Ninja Gaiden's combat, but put that style of combat in Assassin's Creed 2 and I will utterly despise the game.

Oh and btw real famitsu Xbox 360 score for Lost Odyssey.
