Nah as most of the games im looking forward too have already been delayed and are out early 2010, so the chance of them not making 2010 will be very very slim.

Mass Effect 2 / SC5 / Alan Wake / FXIII / Halo Reach / Red Dead Redemption / Fable 3 / Crackdown 2 / Bioshock 2

Games that May or may not get delayed? Metal Gear Solid: Rising / Rage / Crysis 2 / Max Payne 3

and that's not to mention the titles yet to be announced that will hit in 2010 also, so for me 2010 will be the best year in gaming ever!

But each year I have always found atleast one game to satistfy my needs for the year, sometimes a few.

But its all good.

What are you talking about “just another shooter”? it just has a tighter shooting mechanic, it still has all the rpg gameplay from ME1 but now with even more granular control, you now direct each member of you party to individual pacific points and line up their attacks, there is still the pause and asses gameplay and choosing and lining up attacks with more additions to be announced, sheesh plays like another shooter.

@ Acert: There are a number of hands-on write ups from all the main gaming sites out all saying the combat is a much more refined experience.
ok that was amazing, so much smoother and better looking than the first, and i loved the first!! those are Husk if i'm not mistaken (or poor beings that have been transformed) there was only a little section in ME1 with them, but these look to be more aggressive and have better AI, the question i have is what is it only shep and thane? just 2 in the squad?

My mistake there are 3 squad-mates inc shep, i like the squad AI also, how many times did they save that players ass ;)

ME2 is still a day one purchase for me, nothing is going to change that. Not even the newly added shooter elements that I feel really weren't necessary to making ME2 more enjoyable.

But I'm just being honest, so far there's nothing about the combat in ME2 that I haven't seen already in a host of other shooters. But I'm also sure I'll get over it once I actually start playing the game.

The shooting, no more "overheating" like ME1? Seems to have reload now, meaning ammo. Pretty much what I want to know for now.
Do you have to search for ammo and such?

In the demo I played, no. Didn't see any ammo lying around either. This could be because they had an infinite ammo cheat on are alternatively, the act of reloading is the new equivalent of overheating.

I think this is not a reloading(Codex said that with Mass Effect fealds they can generate bullets with little amount of steel inside the gun), but manual cooling.
What about eneme AI?

Aha, so no ammo, just replaces like a cooling device (typical sci-fi stuff).
But wont those run out though?

Well I hope this matter can be clared, because finding ammo will be, tiresome, if they come pleny.

It's just the wallpaper they put up to celebrate Halloween. No idea if it has something to do with the actual game story. Would be interesting if it did though :)

Well Bioware keeps dropping these "Shepard is dead" hints. Maybe in ME2 Shepard becomes infected and is slowly turning into a Husk or some kind of hybrid the way Saren did from Sovereign's implants. Maybe there's nothing he can do to stop it and the clock is ticking toward the inevitable.

Or maybe it's just Shepard having a nightmare.

Hmmm hope this is true?
The 'Microsoft Expert Zone' quiz for retailers, which wasn't supposed to be seen by our mortal, non-Gamestation manager eyes, mentions downloadable characters, combat content and full episodic expansions for the sequel.

The 'quiz' also lists weapon and armor packs, new downloadable worlds as well as "full campaign expansions for download."


It also mentions that Mass Effect 2 will see "periodic updates," which will feature DLC, via Mass Effect 2's unannounced in-game "Cerberus Network".

It's all well and good on paper (or computer screen, in this case) but let's pray BioWare actually manages to get it out this time, as opposed to the first Mass Effect's disappointing DLC turnout.
