Well for example, in baldurgs gate, youd get new quests for each new party member, so basically if i have garus would i get a garrus quest, ashley quest etc?

Ah right, nah, all missions are centered around your character, even though the others comment on missions, they are never a direct source of it.

Sure you get missions from your partymembers, just talk to them from time to time. I got one from Garrus and Wrex, not sure how or if you get other missions from the other characters.

collect over 75% of the codex, not bad, but considering spoke to everyone and checked EVERYWHERE second time through ..and did not get it ...pain in arse lol

darn, that sounds hard, basically 4 planets to visit:( i just got to this mission. man, no missions on earth, i wanted to see biowares view of the future, so far all planets had so much going for them!

any advantage to collecting the codex? like do you get to see what the protheans looked like?

Just finished the game, and i was speechless... 1 of the best action rpgs ever.
Just speechless. and the love scene was in such good taste.
Im so pumped for number 2!

I totally agree. forget rpgs one of the best GAMES ive played. That said, I hope for the second game, they do indeed recognize the choices you made in the first, not just what level your character is at. Just imagine if because you chose to save the Rachni queen, the new breed of rachni come to your aid in some missions, or if in the new council there are Krogan in recognition of Wrex's involvement in stopping Sovereign. Even though I guess its kinda out of character for them to be council members, I think that would be cool.

I watched Blade Runner now on DVD (first time), bad ass!
The music was very similair here and there to Mass Effect.

I kind of wish Mass Effect had more of that old school LOOK than modern future looks.

If it had more like cyber future noir to it would be very cool :P

i think both looks have merrit.
well i do find vangelis did a great job with 1492 and blade runner, but, mass effect had an excellent soundtrack in itself.

PS anyone completed the codex? like do you get to see more movies with protheans?

I am not saying that Mass Effect had bad OST and visuals, it was great for sure. I guess I want a sci-fi look that has a bit more "realistic" look to it, more cyberpunk future.

Anyway, it was bad ass movie for sure, the way it ended...Ridley Scott has to make BR2, but I don't know how that will turn out, Ford is old as hell.
Depends on how he will do in Indiana Jones, if good, a slight chance he will do good in BR2.

I even remember that in Comic con event this year he Mr Scott said he was considering making BR2.

Well Im sure its impossible to anticipate all the different decisions you made, but I think the second should at least recognize the major stuff like whether you chose to sacrafice Ashley, or Kaiden, or whether Wrex is in your group or not, and the fate of the council members. At the very least it should know that stuff, and alter its story accordingly.

Thats obviously the thing they are trying to go for, or they wouldn't have left you with your character still available at the end of the game.

I think they will defiantly work the major decisions in somehow, i just want some solid info from Bioware damn it!

Just wish I had the time to play it through again as a tech and get the last achievements, but I just finished playing Assasins Creed (wich is an insanely good game, with ME and CoD4 one of the best this year), then I get Kane and Lynch and then I'll probably start to play Halo again (if the tweaks turn out to be good, that is).

Guess I'll have to play it when I'm doing my graduation exams at the beginning of the new year. ^^

Hello everyone.

I'm back from a session and I have a question. This is not so into the main story, but for those who have not beat the game yet, don't highlight.

I'm at the point where I talked to Saren's ship and we are about to blow up the whole place down, supposedly were they are training Krogans, etc etc. So that's where I am. I have a question though.

I have all my friends except one, it is shadowed and it is an Asari........should I have her by now? Is she the one I killed in the Prothean-infested planet after she supposedly transferred her knowledge to me? Please just tell me if I should have her with me by now and if I killed her, don't tell me how or where or why I will meet her if I'm not to that point yet.

Thanks. And one more!

How deep into the main story am I? I'm at 19 hours right now and it seems like there is quite a bit more to it.
