That gif is pretty much the only new stuff in gameplay, the rest is just talk about old idea of Rising, to new direction and how Platinum Games came into the project.

Maybe you ment something else, but reading ur sentence made it look like u said it was an mgs title.

Nothing personal btw. Every opinion is welcome, even if you don't like the game.

Though it would add alot to a comment/discussion if it's backed up by an argument or reason as to WHY something is bad or a step down.

The link is the fact that it is being produced by prtty much the same team that brought us the MGS series. To me, this game looks like a huge step down in terms of graphics, gameplay, even the cutscenes (an area where this team is usually unrivalled) look poorly executed. I havent seen much but this is my initial reaction to everything i have seen so far, it could change but for now it "looks" really disappointing.

I understand. Everything shown so far is not ur cup of tea and thats fine. Though I just wanted to make sure you understood me when I mentioned that it's not Kojima Productions developing this game.
So the points you made on: graphics, gameplay and cutscenes are exactly the things done by platinumgames.
KP just oversees the cutscenes and universe. It's a reboot (dejavu). Given to Platinumgames to make their vision of how it looks, and especially how it plays.

Step down gameplay? Ehm, Snake and Boss does stealth, Raiden doesnt do that anymore since he got cybernetic body.

Why the hell would he stealth when he can take out enemies within seconds, doesnt make anysense.
Also, different genres, MGS is a stealth game, MG Rising is for those who wants action within the same universe.

Fanboys will make excuses like this to no end, atleast some fans of MGS can see this approach without saying dissapointment or whatever thats because they know its not MGS and the genre isnt stealth for Raiden's style.

Is it going to be Bayonetta 2 with Metal Gear characters and Ninja Gaiden influence? Not interested in the MG part, nonetheless I'm interested because Bayonetta was a fantastic game.
