i will DEF be buying this one....i like to play bot filled multiplayer shooters (like battlefront) with my friends....im not into the whole online thing.

I'm not saying it's completely neccessary for me to enjoy the game, but I really wanna see the heavy customizability in bots back. Me and a mate had soooo much fun putting that old guy's head on Cassandra's body and have them prefer the crossbow. We invented this new race and pretended that they shot deadly arrows from their vile snouts. We had like six of them chase us two around and we were like.. this strike force called in to combat these creatures. So bizarre. :D

He-mules we called them.

I'd love to see the return of the He-mules in Perfect Dark Zero!

your not into online? why the heck do you want a xbox 360 or currently own a xbox?

im sorry but online is really the only way to go, with some exceptions with rpgs and adventure games... but a fps that is not use for online is laugable...

sorry i do not like to make fun of people, but one question... do you play halo 2 offline all the time? Because if it was not for X Live i would not own a xbox

Most the time...
Do you have freinds? coz if you do, then there is nothing better than an 8 on 8 lan fest. Online is fun to past the time, but if you want a serious battle then you need to play lan. In a lan fest you know that every one is playing properly and there is no prics from the other side of the world pissing about and cheating. They should have made the 360 wireless out the box. Its the way to go.

Don't think that i'm dissing live. Xbox Live is amazing and kicks Sony's Network Play's ass. But do have to back dankster up..

yeah i enjoy playing with real life friends....like farcry was good, but there were no bots so it was annoying to hunt down 1 other player and fight in the huge levels.

i have an xbox now...i haev NEVER gone online with it and i dont have any desire to, but with the x360, i believe i will cash in with my 1year free xboxlive membership card i have somwehre.

I'm one of the few people that didn't like Halo so I didn't think much about this game until I saw the latest vids. I really want to play co-op with my friends and online. It just looks fun.

I have Xbox Live but I never use it anymore. Im thinking about canceling it because Halo 2 has gotten boring, Ghost Recon 2 has gotten kinda lame, and I don't really play anything else online except shooters so....

I use xbox live to keep in contract with old friends from college and family members,
and ofcourse you can not have a lan fest everyday. So usually those the Lans i go to usually are online as well, ive met many people where i live thanks to live, and have had many lans with them...
I was to harsh before, live is a great way to socailize with people, make new friends, and keep some old ones.

New, huge chunk of footage. Some unseen sections and some we've already seen but differently played from before. It's amazing how much better the game looks and flows when the guy who plays doesn't stop to explain everything he does. With one and a half month left before the Xbox 360 comes around, hyping myself like this at this point is pure torture. :)

Pretty bad quality in that last vid though. I recommend all of the gametrailers footage for better representations of those sections.

I don't care what anybody says...! When I played PD for the N64 I remember one thing during a free for all with some friends....( Flashback)

" I was chasing this guy around the level...he had no weapons...I was gonna corner him and get the quick kill. I see someone charge at me and "WHAMMM" my screen gets blurry...im shooting but I don't make contact. "WHAMMM" again to the face....Screen is even more blurry....! "WHAMMM"...my god I can't see and Im losing energy"....!"

Now, if you remember that.....than you know that innovations like that are just waiting to jump out for this new one...! I mean Halo 1 had the "Flood" shooting the captian in the head when he was infected....and PD had the blurry screen...! It's just the moments that keep us coming back for more...@! Im sure we will have plenty of moments with this one.

Definitely. I think in all this graphics hysteria people forget that there's a game in there, too. Specifically, a game that will offer a varied experience due to its goals and mission structures. Assuming that a demo of an unfinished game would give us insight into all of the final product's secrets is absolutely absurd.

Farsight... omg please let there be a FarSight. Oh and dont forget those Slo-Mo throwing knife fights... I swear I made a mess in my pants everytime I dodged those flying beauties and follow it as it hit the guy behind me in the eye, protruding out of his head as he fell backwards in a slo-mo jump/twist motion to the ground. Oh and Proxy war... omg the proxy wars... you know, where youd stick Proxy mines on your friend and tell him to run into the group of Mr.Blondes.
And on a technical not... if I'm not mistaken wasnt Perfect Dark the first console FPS to be the home to the first multi-team'd bots/players? Correct me if I'm wrong of course...
Everything in that game was gorgues, innovative and simply... pefect. The story, graphics, engine (slightly improved from GE I believe), weapons, and most importantly the multi-player.
So If PD0 will give me hours on end of fun and enjoyment... along with the hair raising and pant soiling multiplayer momments, then I'll be on my way to 360 bliss :D
