Looks kinda boring from videos, I know PGR's gameplay though, so I know how it drives and how fun it is.

Well, is it me or the gameplay is close to pgr3's replays with less jaggies, well, almost no jaggies at all !
Not a lot of damage on cars from what I've seen though. This is pure eye candie, but I'm not that sold...

Looks damn fantastic, incredible graphics, better yet, the handling seems to have gone back to PGR2 style, the cars feel heavy and things like body roll, understeer and oversteer are all present there. Awesome, this is what Arcade/Simulation racing is supposed to be like!

Quick Hits: There are about 130 vehicles in the game, about 30 will be motorcycles from Ducati, Honda, MV Augusta, Suzuki and several other manufacturers....As with the cars, you will have a variety of camera choices including a first-person in-helmet view....All Kudos that you earn, either online or off, will be added to your bank. You will need to rack up those Kudos to unlock garages and vehicles...Similar to the new video capture system in Halo 3, PGR On Demand will allow gamers to share photos and videos to show off their elite driving skills, spectacular crashes, or even helpful tutorials... 10 courses and over 200 "tracks, 5 old ones retouched and 5 new ones--Macau, Quebec City, Shanghai, St. Petersburg, and Michelin test track... you don't have to use the bikes... there is a new arcade game packaged in... 2 player split screen, 8 players online... drives more like PGR2 than PGR3... I agree, the cars have a nice sense of weight. Maybe not at a sim level of authenticity, but they appear to have a bit of percision, even if it is thematic and not authentic.

Btw, is it my PC or is anyone else noticing some framerate hitches?

I normally don't complain about framerate problems, but this is obvious. Assuming its just the video though.

It was supposed to release next month, I believe.. are they still on for October though? I thought there was a brief delay. Not sure. Regardless, until the game goes gold, there's still time for further optimization, so I'm not too worried.

And let me say this. PGR4=BEST REPLAYS EVER!

Not only do they have the unbelievable camera angles, they also have filters!!! The in-car camera on the passenger side is simply GENIUS......ask me how freaking long have I've been waiting for replays this special, it's been an eternity.

From the gamespot live thing, bikes look good. It's just the driver that makes everything look bad, while he was driving good, things were smooth.

PGR3 and 4 definitely have unrivalled cockpit views. GT5's static cockpit view dosen't even come close. But have you noticed how crappy the motorbikes' cockpit view is? wheres the head movement and rain on the visor? The opening vid to PGR4 shows a decent cockpit view, but the gameplay vids don't. it may just be the vids i'm watching.
