Great price, i was worried, but i'm not anymore. Such great decision, can't wait to shell out 250€ for the wifi version.

lol, that Uncharted video is so pathetic. Thank you for all these gimmicks, I will of course rather touch the freaking screen to reload and let go off of all other controls, I will also swing the whole freaking handheld and touch the screen to jump over. Yeah, talk about useless.

Not a big handheld guy, maybe I don't understand the greatness. I also don't understand what is so special about the vita.

And what's the MSRP of the 3DS? Matching the 3DS price is insane. There's so much more kit in here that it's *crazy*, and their launch line-up murders Nintendo's current offering.

i was shocked by the price tbh. i was expecting a typical sony bombshell of $400/£400, but they seem to have kept their word of keeping it affordable. with uncharted, wipeout, what looks like a new tenchu and resistance and killzone, i dont see why i wouldnt buy this. maybe not day 1 (depends on launch line-up) but it seems like a definate future purchase.

considering the price that was annunced in the conf itself was $250 and 250 euro's, i'm kinda shocked that the UK price is slightly cheaper. plus it wont sell for that if it's RRP, usually get a good 10% off RRP, so £200-210. good price. just need to know what the launch lineup is. if uncharted is involved i'm sold.

Great price from Sony's point of view and some of the games looked great. I'm interested now it has dual analogues and definitely for anything Levine is involved with. Screen was great too.

I'm curious though, as to how successful it will really be. I've a 45 minute commute to work and need to change trains three times. Much as I love Uncharted, it's not all that practical to play on the go. The DS was successful, in part because it offered gaming experiences more suited for short bursts. Whether you consider the PSP to be successful or not depends on which way you look at it, but it's interesting to see them pursue the exact same strategy. The technological similarities to the PS3 surely mean a raft of old console ports are on the way (Ubisoft, I'm looking at you). I wonder if Sony will have a similar arbitrary PSP version must be 20% different from PS2 rule, this time around?

Accepting that there will be PSP Minis and PSN games still, if I want to play a console game, I'm minded to play on an actual console rather than a handheld (though plenty of younger players often play handhelds when at home, reportedly). Could just be me, of course :)

Should give Nintendo a kick up the backside anyway, they seem a bit lost for direction with the 3DS at the moment.

Pretty shocked at how low the price is for this.

Hopefully there will be a decent RPG out for the system around launch.

If its anything like the PSP you can push the power button up quickly to pause the game and power off the system, so I don't see that being an issue.

I got no idea man.
I never played Shinobido on PS2 but I seen cover and slight gameplay long time ago.

I do believe Shinobido is by the creators of Tenchu on PSX and the gameplay is very similair to Tenchu as you can see here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwP2RFwc2qE
