Little Big Planet looks like it has always had touch controls etc, it sits so comfortably on this platform. If i was going to get one at launch i think that would be the reason. Uncharted touch controls make me a little sad, oh well.

I wonder if Sony will now tweak there PSV to rob nintendos ideas and launch it before there actual machine, making the ideas dated before its even launched?

Because surly it can achieve the same thing? if not better due to the power in the PSV? i hope sony do, will save me buying a new home console just to try it out, and that would make me look at the PSV with more intrest
least sony can brag then, "its not ltd to the living room"

the PSP already does the streaming thing for some games like lair, stardust HD and a few others. hell, i've turned on my PS3 from work, and played stardust HD on my PSP vis my PS3. so the streaming capabilities are definately there. and with the PSV's touch screen it seems they could easily do the "second screen" touch commands too, like having a permentantly open inventory on the PSV or something. seem likely they will tbh. not a feature i'm gagging for tho, much prefer sony's cross platform saves. the idea of playing a game on the PS3 and then moving onto a handheld to carry on the same game seems awesome to me.

Meh I don't find any of those games overly interesting.

Guess I'll be waiting to buy one of these, unless TGS has better Japanese support for the system.

Rune looked good, but I'm not sure I want to buy a system just for a Diablo knockoff.

I'm not buying a next-gen handheld until 2013 at least. They don't have anything interesting at the moment IMO.

This all nice and good, really exciting but they still haven't addressed what was my major issue with the original PSP: What's the incentive to play games on a handheld that I can on a home console?

This isn't Japan, I'm not 13yrs old. If I'm playing video games I'm doing it at home, and if I have the option of not craning my neck 45 degrees down, I'm not going to. I've seen the same thing the PSP had going on, console ports of the Playstation's biggest franchises just on a smaller screen.

With Nintendo's track record, I just don't see this overtaking the 3DS if/when that gets more solid titles and more momentum (and of course the price drop that we all know is coming). E3 already showed some interesting games in the pipeline or soon on their way, and as much as I hate Nintendo's re-re-re-release methods they generally sell (even I admit Mario Kart 3D looked cool).

Don't get me wrong, it looks great despite all the gimmicks (I groaned seeing touch/rotate Uncharted platforming) but I really don't see what's to stop the novelty from wearing off and the 3rd party abandoning it again.

In a PlayStation Vita session for European and Australian press at E3 today, Michael Denny, Sony's Vice President of Sony Worldwide Studios Europe, confirmed that - to the best of his knowledge - Vita would be region free.
Would be awesome if both of this things turned out to be true.

Dual analog sticks - Check;
Region free - Check;
Interesting launch line-up - Check;
Great price for Vita - Check;
Nice price for the games - Check;
Hot console, that looks hot - Check.

Seems like Sony is doing everything right.
