I can say, the last mission is rough! I'll have to give it another go tomorrow.
It's very rude of them to make Eos liberation so easy, then throw a brick wall in your face.
edit
nevermind
I decided to give it one more go and got through the finish line.
Now on to the Marauder missions...
Oh well, whatever
Taking place in Mariner Valley (basically another large canyonous territory that needs liberating) as a prequel to the main game, you have new weapons and vehicles to play with.
You don't have to worry about collecting salvage now; just complete a mission and new weapons become available to you - sometimes several.
The new Marauder Spiker is awesome, and carries a hefty amount of ammo. As well you start off carrying 50 charges so no more worrying about running out in the heat of battle.
There's also a new weapon called the "Missile Pod", which is a fast firing less damaging rocket launcher type weapon and it holds several times the ammo of the RL; you've surely seen it mounted on vehicles or as turrets previously.
The other Marauder weapons were seen in the parent game, but they are still great to use.
Now, you start off with double armor straight off and, in addition to not needing salvage (and having plenty of experience with RF:G) you may want to start off at nothing less than Hard difficulty or you might breeze through it.
The Marauders are more helpful by your side than the Civilians were in the main game and you don't need to worry about Morale (what a relief!).
By the way, don't expect a jet pack or a nano-rifle!!
Something less noteable are new hidden items, in the form of Power Cells, but I have no idea what kind of cheat they unlock.
I heard the expansion was $10 USD or less on the Xbox, which I would say is worth it. There's lots of stuff to blow up and one especially interesting Demolition mission the likes of which I did not see in the first game.
All in all it ties in quite nicely with the previous effort, plot and all.
Oh well, whatever
Ex- Idle Thumbs and Gamasutra games philosopher and writer extraordinaire Chris Remo wrote and performed a song based on this game on the Idle Thumbs podcast. It's excellent, and you can download it from here:

But it's more serious than that. They say nothing about the dead brother. ARGH!
This game is my life.
It has some problems: too much driving, boring locations, crap story but man the game is fun! The AI is batshit crazy like Driver PSX, the destruction is awesome and once you get the jetpack...<3
Game of the generation for me...it made me feel like a little kid. I had too much fun
