"CvS2 is better, too."

CvS2? Capcom vs SNK2? If yes, then yes :D

That's one of my favorites in the 2D era. I have the Dreamcast version which, going by the GS review never came out in the states. They gave it a very low score I don't know why considering they gave the Xbox version an 8.7 and it's basically the same thing but with online play.
Yea, Capcom Vs. SNK 2. Probably my second favorite Street Fighter game. Certainly the best of the "Versus" series. MvC2 is also a lot of fun (way, way over the top) but it's not even a fair comparison imo.

Third Strike is definitly my favorite SF game and my favorite 2D fighter. I'm a big SNK fan too (my gamertag, PSN name, and name on most other forums is Neo Bogard, a la Fatal Fury / KOF) but my very favorite 2D fighters are mostly Capcom games.

Mark of the Wolves is probably in third place, I think.

Wasn't Mark of the Wolves basically the last Fatal Fury? And yeah, that's a great one too........I have it on......PC with a ~PS2 pad :D

And good you mentioned your gamertag, I was wondering who was that Neo Bogard in my friends' list, haha.

Where the crap is Shenmue 3 SEGA? Scrap that thing called Shenmue online and finish the Shenmue epic story on 360!

It only says it right under my username :)

Yea, Mark of the Wolves was the last Fatal Fury. One day, SNK Playmore will try to bring the series back from the dead, I hope..well if they can pull it off, I hope they do.

PS. I use Terry Bogard heh..

The coolest thing about Mark of the Wolves (apart from the name) was the re-imagining of Terry for me. I liked everything about that game except playing it, sadly. In fact, the same is true about Last Blade 1/2 for me. I really enjoyed KOF99 Dream Match, the edition of 98 that came out on Dreamcast.

And yeah, Third Strike is completely superior to any 2D fighter, with utter ease. That's precisely why I used it as an example, because it has less fighters and limits the super arts it's more focused, more balanced, and just a better game in general than the flash fest that is SFA3.

But uh, yeah, off topic. :D

It's a lot like Rallisport Challenge 2, so if you enjoyed that - Inflatable - then you're likely to enjoy this.
I really hope this or maybe CM:DIRT will fill the gap RSC2 left behind.. I'm really missing a game like that on the Xbox 360.. RSC2 was a lot of fun, although the online 4 player max kindof sucked..

P.s. replayability for me is mainly in good online-MP fatures.. Only reason I still play PGR3 is because I play it with friends on XBL..

Sega rally is supposed to have tracks that gets "destroyed" in real-time right? If you drive the same way in mud over and over again you will soon have a deep track? Atleast that's what i read a long time ago.

Colin Mcrae dirt looks awesome, and apperantly so do this game. I might even get them both if they can make Sega Rally the nice arcadish game the original is!

Yea, atleast, I too think I remember reading that. Pretty sweet, since this is obviously far less over the top compared to Motorstorm (which is pretty sweet too).

I really hope so cause this will add a big difference in racing-games. Especially if they consider adding something like this in a future Colin Mcrae-series and it makes a big difference wether you go first out or last out on a special track. That i want in a rallygame!

Now i dont know how arcadish or simulative this game will be but if this is implemented it truly will add a whole other feel to racing games, cause if it happens in this game, it will surely happen in any other racing-game that will be coming up.

Sega Rally has a history of being extremely arcadish, but this is from a different developer so how it plays really remains to be seen. I just can't wait to see more, I'm a big fan of Sega's arcade games, they're probably my favorite overall arcade developer. Between this, Virtua Fighter, Virtua Tennis, and afterburner, 2007 is looking like a good year for me.

The arcade game Afterburner Climax is apparently awesome, and I read somewhere that someone considered Yakuza and the PSP Afterburner game "the best Sega games in years".

I'd prolly give that honour to the beyond excellent F-Zero GX, personally, but I suppose people don't consider that a Sega game.

Anyway, my point was that there's Afterburner loving to be had (made?) and hopefully there's a, um, Climax to experience at some point aswell. :O

I sure wouldn't! Sounds like a Nintendo game to me ;')

then again, I don't pay attention to what Nintendo and Sega are doing between the sheets.

Yea F-Zero GX is Sega goods, and it is very good..but it's not their best game in years. That goes to the Virtua Fighter franchise, which hasn't slacked in quality for the whole ride, I think.

I wouldn't even call it their best racer in years, but it's good. I prefer the admitably simpler and much more easy going Outrun 2.
