I have enough a tight budget for later games this year so I am choosing wisely.
By the moves I have seen from that japanese capcom site for DMC4 that Dante can do...I am happy enough to learn them as it was natural for me, so bad ass.
I will stick with DMC4 as DMC title goes, then it's NG2 :D

So I unlocked a harder difficaulty and Bloody Palace and alot of new images and art.
On my first play through I did not choose "Automatic" on, it was off, because I did not know what it was about.
Now I went with Devil Hunter again just to increase my orbs, items and character stats, but this time I chose Automatic ON, and damn it is CRAZY!
Sure you tap and all, but the AI helps you to unleash hell with timing your attacks for you easily, and make make greater damage.
Considering I wanted to get full on everything on both Dante and Nero, I will have Automatic on, although I haven't tried with Dante to see how good the AI can help me :P
I don't understandwhy Capcom did this though, makes me wonder if all those bad ass moves people do and uploads them on youtube is actually without Automatic, if so, damn, if not...I understand D

NARUTO/AVATAR are the best anime EVER!!!
Bring on LOST ODYSSEY & CRY ON!
Another thing that I should mention about the automatic mode is that you still have to do your own combos, but the AI helps you to time them better to like rev it up easily to make more damage and all that...not only that but once you grab the enemy with Nero it helps you to do extra damage...if it does any :S
Another cool thing is that all the red orbs comes to you, no matter where you are, so you don't have to run after them.
Like I mentioned, it makes me wonder if all the top combos videos have this automatic on or not, because there is no way telling if you have it or not once in gameplay.

Sath: Which moves are hard to time? Only exeed is a bit tricky, everyting else buffers like crazy, even with automatic off. Also, about not buying last gen games, that's the most artarded thing i've ever heard. The game is cheap and it's super fun. Why not buy it just because it's a ps2 game? That's just weird :P

and I do not have to chase after red orbs :P
I stopped buying last gen games after God of War 2, then all my money is going for next gen, simple as that. There are alot of people who doesn't want to buy last gen games anymore, like me, but there are some who still do...not me.

Automatic mode basically cheapens the game then, it makes the game a mindless masher. Awesome ;)

And yes Automatic on makes the game easier and all, but man does it look cool, kind of like a attract mode of the coolest combos and such you can do :P
I do sometimes turn it off though just to make my game harder for combos, but when I want mindless hack and slash and to see them being unleashed, I turn it on.

The camera has come closer to killing me than any of the bosses have. The combat is great, and the enemies are pretty varied. Graphics are incredible, and the cutscenes are fairly interesting even with their porno-rate writing. But the game ultimately boils down to an experience I had hoped would end on the PS2, in favor of some new innovations of the next-gen. I honestly see no explanation for the levels to be so separated with a transition screen. The graphics are not THAT good, and with everything being separated with invisible walls anyway, whats the need to use an outdated mechanic? It should be seamless. Jumping and platforming also feel labored, it feels like you're going up rather than going forward with momentum. A staple of the franchise, but if you're going to introduce more platforms, it wouldn't hurt to look at your jump mechanic while you're at it.
The skill purchase screen is pretty unique. Let's get a refund on what you upgrade to, so you can keep trying new combos. Would be nice if the price didn't increase just out of reach of what you have left everytime you bought something though.
Maybe I'm being a little harsh on it. It does make some interesting strides, but ultimately, it feels a bit tedious. It's definitely a DMC game. But I had hoped for a little more from a game after so long.
Hey, I'm just like you. I put my pants on one leg at a - dammit, I knew I forgot something today.
