i just hope while they where shopping for a new engine, they picked up a few decent animators and voice actors while they where at it...lol i dont think i can listen to the same stiff characters anymore that all sound alike.

I know the majority were bad, but dude... Sean Bean.

I think it's well established by now that KORN has a bit of a weird veiw on characters, which could explain why he thinks Sean Bean is so terrible (i mean hey, he's by no means so amazing that i can't believe it but he's not that sucky either). Then again, i can't really say i think the TES games have ever been about characters or story, they've always been about exploring the huge world, seeing the sights, doing all the quests and progressing through the guilds and so forth. The story in Oblivion was abysmal, it was barely even there. The only function it served was to give you a string of quests after which you could say that the game was over, that you were done but it was never the main focus of the game.

Well, ofc we knew it was coming but it's still good to know that it's officially on the way :) I do want to see some actual shots of hte game though...i'm curious how much of the gamebryo engine they've actually changed. I mean, they talk like Fallout 3 and oblivion have this big difference between them...pff, some difference yesm, but you can still tell what engine it is with little trouble. I hope they've really bumped it up and added a lot more loot, unique dungeons and remove the scaling crap to actually encourage exploration. Also, i think they should have some dynamics between the guilds, i'm not sure i like that a full on club swining nord with the IQ of a potato can join and become top rank of the mages guild :P

Ah well, it's a full year away, so i guess there's lots of time for us to get info, screens and trailers.

And as i said above, even though i whine a lot about certain aspects of oblivion, i still played that game for 300+ hours so obviously they go something right.

I'm pretty surprised that it's coming out as soon as it is and that this is not only the first time we've seen this, but it's also so little. Kinda leaves an unsettling feeling about it really

I tried to play the first but it crashed and almost tried to kill my 360 after I escaped from the sewers so I stoped in fear.

Hopefully this one is better in that department.

Morrowind is kind of off-putting at first though, you really have to invest to get the most out of it. But if you do then yes, there is a lot of fun to be had there. More so than in oblivion.
