wonder if my enchanted, smithed armour and bow will still be the best items in the game? or whether they're going to actually give me a reason to explore the world some more? i'd love skyrim to have a borderlands system for it's armour and weapons. make it so you actually have a chance to find stuff better then your current kit. atm i have about 150 caves and dungeons that i havnt even been in, but when i know my bow and armour are untouchable...why even bother? for the thrill of explorating repetative cave systems? nah.

this needs to be a shivering isles quality explansion. a world that is more interesting. and a world that offers items worth finding. because vanilla skyrim doesnt offer either of those things.

Totally agree Korn, I'm in the exact same position and don't feel that need/sense of exploration that I did early on in the game.

Either a cool new environment, a big new story or a shit ton of new loot...or preferably all. Though i don't know, i played through Skyrim and i think i've had my fill for the next few years. They really need to up the game in terms of content quality for me. I'd rather have a somewhat smaller but more focused game tbh. I'm guessing that's why peole liked Shivering Iles as well, it's just that; a much more condenced experience that still has all the fun of the original game.

You know what they should do, which they won't, is make it exactly in vain of the predecessors only take Paths of Exile town hub system. If you want to group up for a quest or roam the land, party in town before you head out. This would avoid the standard boring model of grinding boars and different variations of wolves just to hit a gear gate system.
Course I despise instanced play in an MMO, but I feel that it would be the only way to keep the integrity of Elder Scrolls game play style.

I've always thought so as well, but after seeing some of the details, I'm far less interested. It sounds like they're turning it into every other MMO.

i said this a million times if you want a solid selling product its got to be different than the crowd
mario imitations don't sell the amount that mario does
Halo imitations don't sell the quantity that it does
Same goes for WoW and CoD GTA and every other stand out title

We gamers love our games to play the same in a set franchise (reason people love COD is because its exactly what they expect) but when franchises imitate others THAT is where we draw the line (resident evil wanting to be COD.. or the likes of Elder scrolls wanting to be WoW)

Was there a WOW killer? a halo killer? a cod killer? a gta killer?
No, the reason? all games that want the people that play these just imitate them

As i say to all my friends that keep trying to get me on star wars mmo or upcoming elderscrolls mmo, WHY would i want to play a imitation when i can just play the real thing?
and everytime they say wow dude its going to kill WOW, and within a week they all say the same thing "clone" and there back on WOW..

If you want to beat these games, offer the gamers something refreshing something new, grow some fucking balls, i have these t-shirts in so many colours now its depressing :(

I'm actually playin some Skyrim this weekend. Just finishing up some loose ends. I hadn't played it since that larger patch, I like some of the improvements, and the Steam support for mods is a nice touch.

Just got it for my pc, damn..
look i know pretty much all games run a 100 times better on pc, its kinda like ..obvious but sweet fucking god o.0 after i clocked well over 250 hours on the ps3 version, having it crash all the time 3 hour loading screens and the over all game stuttering like open 24 hours..
this is a completelly different game for me :D this is awesome lol
