You can duel enchant if you perk it enough if that is what you mean?

Anything I can expect from higher destruction perks? Is shock the same as lightning?
I am doing a whole different quests than I was doing before with my melee builds, but overal, I like it.

But god, I wish they could have a way to implement dual wielding elemental charge, would be so godly.

Only use fire, i find when i need frost and lightning the basics do the job at this point.

Not that I'm aware of. Found items aren't as good as the ones you can make anyway though.. so it's more of a minor inconvenience.

I'm blowing through so much damn gold on skill trainers. I spent nearly 10k last night on Alchemy.

Yeah, but it looks more like they did some shitty compression more than faceting (you wouldn't have that fine line detail with a non-smooth, or low-rez model)

Unless they are complete and utter mongoloids they are using a format that isn't compressed. I think its something gone wrong with the baking. Possibly bad smoothing on the low-res retopo. It's not very noticeable in-game though, it just feels like the people working on this should be experienced enough to get around stuff like this.

Been playing ALOT yesterday with my mage, loving it!
I have a question though, why the hell is my Destruction powers not upgrading automatically the more I use them? They are still on Novice, Apprentice level except for the Ice Storm being Adept.

Do you know if there is a place I have to go to upgrade them, or buy books? Even when browsing a merchants books with spells it doesnt say what level they are, just describtion and how much it costs.

i know what your saying, and i dont know :(
yeah my flames is still apprentice and weak and the only time it seemed to get more powerfull was when i do perk upgrades (the 50% one and enchants) it seems to me a novice spell will always be a novice spell, i hope to be wrong

Oh i STILl cant find that destruction mage in the college.. really starting to piss me off now :( all i ever cast now is fireball and the misses is getting tired of hearing it on the subwoofer..constantly lol

Also, it would piss me off if the spells dont increase the more you use them or upgrade them in any other way. I want my fireballs in Akuma level damn it! Sure it can stun enemies (dragons can be stunned dear god! lol).

I have no idea about the enchantsment though, never really bothered with that stuff. Is it weapons only or...?

Btw, the Destruction mage in the college is Faralda. If you look at the statue in the courtyard from the front, turn around, on your left there is a door like the Apprentices place, there you can find her.

If you have a filled soul gem, you should be able to simply select "recharge" in your inventory.

I used a carriage once. I find it strange that the hardcore TES fans would rather have them in than fast traveling. I don't use carriages at all.. they totally kill a lot of exploration.

I started crafting iron daggers. They destroy leather bracers as a method of grinding smithing, but it does cost you. Still. I managed to get nearly 20 points of smithing extremely quickly. It's about to pass bow as my highest skill.

And if you enchant some of the daggers with even crappy soul stones, you can really turn the costs around too..

I wish I could get alchemy up higher w/o skill training. I have a feeling Alchemy 70-100 is going to take me forever. :/

Oh, I'm not sure everywhere here is aware of this: The level 50 "cap" isn't really much of a cap. You can actually make it to level 81 (and get a total of 80 perks) if you get every skill to 100. Good luck.
