Since 6998 DaysI haven't seen a single bit of footage that indicates this game is the best at anything besides rocket-sliding across the ground....and even then, having that in there seems like a necessity to provide an alternative to watching that funny looking run.

Since 5721 DaysIf the game sucks wich I dont think it will I will stop making those coments forever,but so far the game I said it will change everything in that particular genre was Bayonetta and almost everybody said I was crazy the same way Ron up there is doin it and look how that turned out the game is a freaking masterpiece and the freaking referent in action games even if some dont want it to admit it or simply can't see it.

You may say it have that Gears feel but I dotn see nothing wrong with that honestly and what it does to push things further is the way cover is implemented,like in here you will be covering in everything not just some covers made especifically for it,your character will cover exactly the way he is suposed to if its a feet of cover he will almost lay down in it in order to cover and every cover can be destroyed,the speed of what everything is made we havenyt seen a game like it before you are practically dashing at high speed from cover to cover in a stylish way,not to mention the bullet time you get sometimes when a certain action you make to kill in a more badass way,huge challenging bosses a score system,the melee system that we havent got a game that puts some effort in that particular part of the game,they are a few things that Vanquish is doin to set itself apart from every shooter out there it will be something new we havent played in a game before,is doing what Bayonetta made for action games IMO and I hope Im not wrong LOL
Anyway I hope too for a great game and the best 3rd person shoother ever,though if you want a more serious mmore grounded to reality game we can always play Gears.

Slide all the way and then do a backflip and while in the air doing the backflip the game goes into slow mo and shoots in the air and then lands.

Since 5721 DaysGears its the closest game I could thing while making comparisons,but if we talk about animations well that isn't debatable Vanquish its like millions years ahead of everything,I was talking more about the aiming.

Since 6880 DaysFor example, both Vanquish and Uncharted has this normal floaty feel of moving around, taking cover (though Uncharted's cover animations is smoother) and the whole twisting the body at the side aiming while running in another direction, camera being further away.
In Gears it is more weighty, slower, not much freedom in movement, feels more restricted.
Since 5721 DaysIm very excited because at last we can do the things a high tech suit is suposed to do and it will not just for the sake of it(Im looking at you MasterChief)
I want to see more melee combat,the shooting Im convinced it will be awesome but so far we have only seen a few quick melee punches here and there.
What we have seen looks insane though,those punches carried a lot of power behind them.

Since 6880 DaysYou can see the character's body start moving in even a bit if there is a slight part of their body sticking out of cover, their faces changes from stress expression to calm, their body of heavy breathing starts calming down and you can see that from their chests...etc.
You can see such small details that it looks like that is how real humans would react and move.
IMO Uncharted has the best cover system considering they react and move like real humans would do, the more realistic human animations the better.
