They are only conditioning you guys for bittorent errr Avalanche. "Yeah they use my bandwidth, but my DLs are sooo much faster!"
Hey, if it prevents this shit from happening, I'm all for it. Plus, Demos are part of the free portion of Xbox live. All I'm actually paying for is peer 2 peer gaming.. so they might as well use my bandwidth while they're at it.

By the time you guys get around to it.. the kinks will probably have been worked out of the system. It's 4am here. I don't have to work tomorrow so I'm hoping that I can just grab it in the afternoon without any issues. I tried for three solid hours tonight and wasn't very successful.

Can't wait to try it later.

There seems to be problems always they release a new demo... Download can be really fast and it suddenly just stops completely and no use if you try to resume it. I have to delete it and hope it downloads it next time. I just hope it wont stop now, almost at 80% already.

Well these are the kind of games I like more, so don't hate :(
Lair and Heavenly Sword.

I am happy for it that BioShock is keep getting amazing reviews, and it is most definitely worth the praise, even I admit I like it a lot, but I rather save the money for the games that are on my "must buy" list and the reason why I both 360 and Ps3 from the beginning.

looking at some screenshots of the demo, my god i really hope this meets the expectations...i'm really tempted not to play the demo, since i have the game ordered, but i know i will not resist it.

I really hope they succeed in getting you into a really exciting story, because from my experience almost no game managed to do this. The Darkness promissed, and failed a bit short. I know gaming is still a very young entertainment/art form, but if for one i think games are now in a point where they meet expectations in terms of entertainment, on the other hand i dream of a time when i'll get the same kicks (story wise, creativity, environments...) i get from reading an excellent book, or watching a good movie.

My fingers are crossed that Bioshock will get a bit closer in that direction.

From reviews it appears as if it succeeded. I may actually end up buying it now not sure.

I'll probably get it next year or maybe I wont at all guess it all depends.

Oh man the demo was awesome! A bit longer than I expected too. I just love how detailed the city is. Game seems to run very stable frame rate and looks really gorgeous, one of the best looking games I have ever played! If the quality is this good from the start to end it is going to be one of the best games for this year.

I just played the Demo, and it's pretty amazing! Really loved the atmosphere and the music while playing! Also hearing the enemies and NPC's talk is quite scary and helps to deliver the whole world of rapture!

Loving it!
Can't wait for the full game!

You know what is also amazingly done:

The sound:

You hear the footsteps of your enemies and it changes depending on the speed and the type of ground they walk on! Also really love the creaking of the "hull" of the city that is done by the pressure of the water on the windows and walls...

And the water looks fantastic :D especially when u electrocute someone in a pool of water!

lol. Come On though, i'm open to all good games especially When a game like Bioshock appears, I have to make an exception. You see, I dont hate first person shooters but i like the ones that stand out, Half life 2, Far Cry and now Bioshock (gears of war too but it's not a FIRST PS in that sense) and if all things go well may be Halo 3 or COD4 as well. I am still not seeing the sparkle in both so it's a Wait and See for now ;)

Dont be surprised, the day may come where you'll see jollipop play Halo 3. You never know ! :D

You get healthpacks that u can use on the fly (red syringes)
And you get packs for your plasmids (blue syringes)

You also got some stuff laying around in the level that works instantly:

Booz: Heals u but lowers your energy for the plasmids (and yes you can get drunk, the screen gets al wobbely and your vision and aiming is worse (and he makes funny hickup sounds))
Smokes: Gives u energy for the plasmids but lowers your health
Bandages: Heals u with no bad effect

You store up to 9 first aid kits. The number of kits you have displayed next to the health bar. You can use them whenever you want. Also drinking alcohol and eating restore health.
