I called this my game of the show at TGS back in September of 2010, so as you can imagine I've been dying to get my hands on Child of Eden. In Japan we still don't have a launch date, so like REZ before it I had to import it. In the video show shown the Kinect is used through-out, you can use the controller but using Kinect just gives the player an experience that they've never felt, a feeling of conducting an orchestra.

Ubisoft just sent us the launch trailer of Child of Eden, Tetsuya Mizuguchi's new title. BlimBlim is trying hard to write a full review of the game so let's hope he can make it.

We recently had the opportunity to spend some time with Tetsuya Mizuguchi, the producer of Child of Eden. In Paris for a few days, he showed us a preview version of the game, explaining to us its main gameplay mechanics and the different possibilities that the game offers. Equipped with our indispensable camera, we immortalized the moment so you could have a taste of this exclusive presentation. And as Tetsuya is a really nice guy, he offered us this preview version so we could give you more detailed impressions on the experience delivered by the game using Kinect. Ubisoft just sent us this brand new trailer of Child of Eden, this one explaining a bit more the "philosophy" behind the game. Also worth mentionning, Ubisoft also confirmed a PS3 version of the game, to be released in September.

As you may remember I thoroughly enjoyed playing Child of Eden at last year's Tokyo Games Show, and I surprisingly (for me) enjoyed it even more when playing it with Kinect. So as a reminder, here is a new trailer of the game, showing this exact functionality again. It's also a good way to see that the graphics got a bit better, and to see some new gameplay sequences.

During the Tokyo Game Show, a little more than two weeks ago, Ubisoft invited us to a preview/interview event with Q Entertainment for their new project Child of Eden, unveiled last June at E3. We got to play the game of course, but also to chat with the developers of one of the rare Kinect titles aimed at gamers. Needless to say we also didn’t forget to ask a few questions to Tetsuya Mizuguchi while we were there. Check it out inside!
