Detroit: Become Human is finally available on PC but as expected, it's a lot demanding than its predecessors. We're still quite disappointed for the moment though, as even our RTX 2080 Ti drops frames down to the mid 40s in 1440p and ultra settings, which does not seem to be justified. We haven't had time to test how the game runs in 1080p, but framerate seems more stable with our configuration at least. There aren't a lot of graphics options to meddle with, but it may be possible to reach 60 fps in higher resolutions by lowering a bunch of settings. We'll see what we can do, but until then, here is the first chapter of the game in 4K with the pretty effective 30 fps cap.

A demo for Detroit: Become Human is available since a couple of days on PS4 and allows to control Connor in the first scene of the game: Hostage. The full title will be out May 25.

Three weeks after the end of Paris Games Week, we were finally sent the 4K gameplay footage of Detroit: Become Human we had recorded at the time with the equipment they had made available to the press (the very same Shogun Inferno we own). Three weeks of dial-up connection upload apparently, but as the expression goes, better late than never. Detroit: Become Human of course got a brand new trailer of the Paris Games Week, as usual now in a format showing various ways a scene can play according to the player choices. I have to say I'm starting to warm up on that game.
