Ubisoft has released a new story trailer of Far Cry 5 that reveals a bit more about the doomsday cult that players will have to take down starting March 27. The publisher also revealed Far Cry 3: Classic Edition which is part of the Season Pass and allows console players to re-experience the single-player content while PC owners of the pass will get access to the full game. It will also be available as a standalone purchase in Summer 2018. The post-launch content also includes three new adventures: Hours of Darkness, Dead Living Zombies and Lost on Mars with more details about them soon.

Finally, after months of intensive work, we are going to be given the gift of time. December will indeed be a welcome break for us here. In November, you got your share of review and videos as usual, but as the big 2012 released are all out now, the weeks to come should be rather quiet. Don't worry though, since a few games slipped through our fingers lately, like Assassin's Creed Liberation and LEGO Lords of the Rings for example, we will try to catch up on the footage we haven't been able to deliver. What's more, we will let you have another look at Project CARS so you can see if some progress has been made since last time. The holiday season is now upon us, Gamersyde is still up and running, so let's just hope the end of the world will not show itself in three weeks so we can continue next year.

Following our Xbox 360 videos, we now offer you some PC videos of Far Cry 3, a new PC gallery and the launch trailer.

Far Cry 3 is clearly the last big release of this year so we couldn't fail to deliver a bunch of gameplay videos for you guys. We'll start with the 360 version but we should be able to add some PC footage by tomorrow if things go according to plan. As you'll see, this third installment is quite demanding for 7-year-old consoles, so don't be surprised to see a lot of aliasing, tearing issues and, maybe more importantly, rather low framerate (though it does not seem to drop). On PC, you will need a very good rig to be able to run the game in the highest settings, but even on high there can be occasional slowdowns with a GTX 670 (limited by a 2.67Ghz CPU). Many say that the game looks amazing but we don't think it looks that impressive compared to other games. Maybe we've gotten hard to please, you tell us.

A few days before the game's release, Far Cry 3 gets some gameplay videos that show among other things, the map editor and 4-players coop mode.

Ubisoft introduces Firestorm and Transmission, two multiplayer modes from Far Cry 3 where only the maddest survive.

Ubisoft announced today that Far Cry 3 was gold and so will not be late on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. To celebrate the good news, here is a while new trailer focused on the game's story.

Ubisoft has created a live-action series entitled The Far Cry Experience that will debut November 1st. The four episdoes star Christopher Mintz-Plasse as McLovin and Michael Mando as Vaas. Catch the teaser inside. Far Cry 3 will be out on December 4th in North America.

Ubiusoft has released a trailer to show the Monkey Business pack of Far Cry 3. Available in the Insane Collector Edition, the pack offers 4 unique missions and 1 hour additional gameplay where players will meet Hurk, a character who stripes packs of C4 on monkeys.
