Developed by 4A Games, a Ukrainian studio composed of former members of the team responsible for STALKER, Metro 2033 was released last week without the usual buzz that usually accompanies more highly anticipated titles. Adapted from the novel by Dmitri Glukhovsky, the game invites the player to discover the depth of the Muscovite metro system and the many dangers that lurk in the shadows of its tunnels. THQ has released the launch trailer for Metro 2033, the game based on the novel of Dmitry Glukhovsky is out this week. The song used (well-known to those who have seen the movie 28 Days Later) set the atmosphere for this post-apocalyptic shooter that takes place in Moscow.
Yet another FPS you guess? And you guess right! This first person shooter is being developped by 4A Games, an Ukrainian game company, and is based on a cult novel of the Russian author Dmitriy Glukhovskiy "Metro 2033".
The world lies in ruins. Humanity is almost annihilated. Due to the high level of radiation cities became unsuitable for living... The storyline takes place 20 years after these events, and takes as a starting point the metro tunnels of Moscow - The largest anti-nuclear shelter of the planet, where some strange things are happening (Mutants inside).
