Quake 4 is the other FPS published by Activision for the Xbox 360 launch. And that's about all this game has in common with the excellent Call of Duty 2. Quake 4 could have been a good game, but the technical issues, especially the framerate, just killed any interest I could have had in this game single player mode. The multiplayer on Xbox Live is quite good, but unfortunately it looks like there aren't many players. Make sure you rent this game (if possible) before paying the full price.

The site Quake 4 Euro put online this short video of Quake 4 (PC version) finally running in multiplayer mode. Some people feared that the game would become slower because of the Doom 3 engine, but it looks like it's as fast as ever.

Activision has released a new trailer and a couple of images of the PC-version of Quake 4. The first two are from the multiplayer mode, while the other pair is from the single player mode. Looks good, as always, and the trailer is really impressive!
Also during Activate Asia, Activision released these 2 new shots from the PC version of Quake 4.

Microsoft released a lot of trailers for upcoming Xbox 360 games in HTDV 720p resolution. I'll add them to this news when I have them online on the media servers.
Quake 4 time again. Raven reveals a full HD trailer, unveiling the main line of the scenario (yeah, there's one), along with 3 never seen before screenshots. Definitively, hum, pretty.
