The PlayStation 5 Pro has been out for two days and the high quality video coverage is finally coming on Gamersyde. We'll start with the First Party titles that have already received a Pro patch, though it's not always that obvious to see. Inside you will find three videos showing Demon's Souls, The Last of Us Part I and the remaster of its sequel, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Horizon Forbidden West, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Stellar Blade, Rise of the Ronin, God of War: Ragnarok and the Until Dawn remake, which has added a Performance mode running at 60 fps. Ragnarok's Pro mode with PSSR seems meant for VRR display as it is not as steady as we'd hoped, though using temporal AA seems to work better for some reason.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a new Sony port available on PC. It features DirectStorage 1.2, NVIDIA DLSS3, AMD FSR2, Intel XeSS and Insomniac Games' Temporal Injection, ultra-wide 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 resolution support, DualSense functionality, ambient occlusion using ray-tracing and XeGTAO, and framerate unlocking. Here's our 4K video with max settings, DLSS in quality mode, Frame Generation disabled, captured with a Ryzen 5900X and a RTX 4090.

Now that the final embargo on Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is lifted, we are allowed to share some super HQ gameplay footage of the different graphics modes among other things. We have also prepared two HDR videos that should blow your mind (no less) and added a new gallery of images taken with the game's photo mode.

We are certainly to blame, but since the English-speaking community is definitely wearing thin, we cannot afford to put a lot of time and efforts in making video reviews in English anymore, at least not all the time. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will be officially out in a few days now and we have translated our written verdict for those of you guys who still care a little about our opinion. You still have access to the French video review if you want to enjoy the great image quality, as well as a small image gallery (more will come later this week but for now that's all we're authorized to share).

The Sony event didn't disappoint and there's a lot to be excited about, though it's likely the console design itself won't appeal to everyone. Until we (maybe) get our hands on high quality versions of the trailers of all PS5 exclusives, here's a good number of them directly coming from YouTube.
