Video PC PS4 Xbox One Wii U Xbox 360 PS3

After Watch_Dogs, it's now time to join the pirates of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag for a new gameplay video. If you read the preview we wrote about the Unisoft line-up at Gamescom, you won't learn anything new here, but at least this time, you get to see it all.

It looks nice and that's about it. If you were tired of AC by now, i'd bet money on it that you will be tired of it quick. It looks to be the same old shit, with some new shit thrown in that will become boring and gimmicky quickly. Look at the underwater fights, its too cinematic and automatic, let me just kill that enemy myself. I guess its cool that the world is massive, but not when it just becomes boring and a chore after a while. Yeah i am pretty done with AC.

Ah this is a beautiful yet stupid game. It's all a bunch of filler material. I feel like I'm wasting my life away by harpooning a shark...to upgrade harpooning a whale...to get money...to upgrade my ship...Everything is all about upgrading and "working up the ladder" by doing mundane activities.
It's actually funny how they use the historical context to justify this crap.
I'd rather they give me a 10 hour quality assassin game with a legit story & fluid stealth/action.

Edit:
And now they also want me to dive in the waters...to search for treasure....to get money...to upgrade my ship...and etc.
Does a shark really use sight to hunt? I would guess hiding in a reef would do squat against a shark's hunting instincts irl.

Honestly, I'm getting this to see how can they repair the damage done to the storyline of "The First Civilization" by Assassin's Creed III. It really broke my heart seeing how lame the ending to AC3 was. They completely disreagrded Subject 16's dire warning...and don't get me started how they played Minerva...

This whole.....AC is an annual release because its worth it....is just bullshit. But Ubi said something along those lines. Sigh. No Ubi...you actually slowly ruin your IP that way.

@Moonwalker - I must respectfully disagree. With most games, you'll be 100% right...however Assassin's Creed is a different creature altogether. Hardcore fans of the series (like myself) is completely addicted to the storyline. Now if folks think the main storyline is Assassins vs Templars, then they clearly haven't been paying attention (or really completed the entire game), because it's soooo much deeper than that. The game is about the orgin of humanity, and the powers that would see us slaves. The First Civilization storyline is more than enough to keep us (fans) coming back each year.. Funny...the countless trailers of all the AC games, and not once did they EVER revealed anything about "Those That Came Before". lol I admit, AC3 took a major step backwards in terms of gameplay and story, but Black Flag has the potential to correct this.....hopefully.

hahaha...what the hell does deep-diving for treasure, harpooning a whale, fighting to earn rights to a tavern, or anything thing they just showed, have to do with anything you just said? i smell the stench of far cry 3 all over that. they are detracting from the main storyline year after year it just hasnt hit you yet. its cool though. to each his own.

Looks just like anything UbiSoft: almost great, almost interesting, almost innovative yet something is not right or not working properly, no soul.
